Nathan chewed on his lower lip in confusion as he watched Floa make her way away from him and settle into a discussion with another girl in no time. With a frown on his face, Nathan sat back down on the table awkwardly. Did he say something wrong? He introduced himself politely like he was supposed to, no one else had reacted like that before. Maybe it was because she was young like him and some different rules applied in that situation or maybe she got mad since he didn't introduce himself right away. The fact that he didn't even know what he did wrong was quite unsettling.

Giving Floa and the girl she was talking with a glance, Nathan chewed on his thumb absentmindedly as he wondered what they were talking about. He was able to catch few words here and there but it wasn't really helping. Maybe if he could hear what they were talking about, he could learn to talk to other kids too.

"Hey! Loosen up a bit and eat will ya. don't worry, you'll get used to this place quickly." Nathan was pulled out of his musings when someone clapped a hand on his shoulder and apparently tried to make him feel less broody. Turning his head, Nathan was met with another Ravenclaw member who was a few years older than him and the boy tried to look convincing as he uttered out his reply, "Right, sure." He didn't really know what else to say so he dug into the food he had been ignoring up until that point. He wasn't really hungry.

Ravyn poked at her food, unsure if she truly wanted to eat. She forced herself to eat a few bites before deciding it was a bad idea.

ooc; We may as well just have them go back to their common rooms after emelicious is sorted

Clover went over to the door and opens it "oh I hope I'm not late wait split get over here." She looking at split and then walking to the ceremony for the class. Split sat on her solder.

Carloti dug into the food that had appeared on the previously empty plates. She noticed the snake on Erzi's shoulder. " That's a gorgeous snake you've got there. What breed is it?" She'd always wanted a snake but her Mother was scared of them.

Ezri looks over to Carloti, surprised that someone was talking to her, "It's a Many-Spotted Cat Snake... Her name is Sardonyx." The snake picks her head up and looks at Carloti.

Might I know your name, we're going to be sharing classes for the next 7 years after all" She doubted that many of the first years would be worth her time but she'd at least give them a chance to prove themselves before dismissing them.

Nathan was slightly startled when Floa was suddenly back at his side and asking him to meet her in the common room. He gave the girl a puzzled look as he tried to figure out why she was suddenly talking to him again, he thought he upset her and she wouldn't be even looking at his direction in a while. "Uhh, alright?" Nathan was quite cautious at that point, what did Floa want from him? She obviously wanted something, right? Quite frankly, nothing made any sense and for a fleeting while, Nathan wished he was still at home where he knew what to expect from his limited company.

"GREAT, just great! Late on the very first day. I missed the train and now the housekeeper had to come and get me."Leiva thought."Altough the bike ride was nice." The housekeeper just dropped the girl off and now she's storming into the massive building. "Okay, I hope they're not done yet." She pushed the doors open and saw that the ceremonie hasn't ended yet. She sighed with relieve as she heard her name being called and she raced to the stool with the hat. Still a bit out of breath she heard the sorting hat mumbling a view things and yelling out GRYFFINDOR! "Then Gryffindor it is!"She thought. As she walked to the table she smiled a little not liking all the attention focused on her and took a seat, beeing really glad to finally sit.

Split sits on Clovers head "split I'm filled with joy" she picked up him and gave him a big hug "Now my barn owl we soon it's go to our dorms" she said to split split hooed and pecks her "Oh to much heh heh" she let split go and split landed on her solder.
