"Hey, at least I get to blow stuff up." he said, boarding the Approach. "Enable all weapon systems." he said. "Done." The AI replied.
"Now blow any serpentine son of a b***h to high hell."

(Re-cap please? :) )
Daphlia was getting bored. Soon, she fell asleep. She had another one of those dreams....this time, she was on a beautiful island. She was very little, she looked like she was 4 years old! Now, she was sevnteen...so much time had passed. She remembered her family. She was crying in her sleep, as she saw herself playing at a playground. Then, a massive explosion rocked the whole place. When the dust cleared, she saw her parents lying on the ground. She though they were dead, but she was lucky. Her parents had just barely survived. They had broken their backs and legs, though. It took 6 months for them to fully recover. Then, when she was 11, her parents had taken her out to dinner for her birthday. She was still crying, now harder then ever, silently, in her sleep. She was having flash-backs of good memories. Finally, when she turned seventeen, she was on a cruise for her birthday when a big storm blew the ship 1001 miles away. She had gotten caught up in the wind, and she was whisked away on the wind for hours, until finally crashing into the ship's window. Her parents were in great health and they were safe, and they believed she was safe as well. She was crying very, very hard now. She soon woke up, her eyes bloodshot and her face red and wet from all the crying, panting, and still crying a bit.

"Did you miss me?"

(@Mewgon: I put it in the sign-up thread, so if you put any more requests for recaps, I suggest you put them there.)

Skye cursed vehemently as she saw more sea serpents are coming. The biggest one of them all was a deep blue in color, with wavy fins and glowing sea green eyes. It's teeth were each ten inches in diameter, and its head was at least thirty meters long. It towered nearly to the clouds, and its scales were glowing. The eagles screeched loudly. All of them had let their passengers down, except for the one carrying Daphila. They looked at Galadriel, who nodded. They screeched once more, before they took flight. Six approached the big sea serpents, while the other six each took a single serpent. But they didn't strike. They only needed to circle around, until the sea serpent became hostile.

Echo stood proudly on a snow-covered hill, listening to the endless, furious crash of ocean waves. She stepped down the hill and ran to the water's edge. She put one foot on the water and it crackled and bubbled. It then became solid ice. She ran on her trail of ice, as it cracked and melted back into the ocean behind her and came back to life in front of her, catching her perfectly-timed steps as she ran. Echo than took on her dragon form.

"Evening has come for you. Night draws ever nearer. A night from which you shall never emerge." Galadriel softly said, as with a swift motion she was running across the water, headed for the gigantic sea serpent. She nimbly avoided the crashing head of one. Skye took to the sky, firing fireball after fireball at the sea serpents.

Echo swam under the water, her wings gliding perfectly though the ice-cold ocean. She surfaced and flew up to see a fireball-throwing girl, and a elven sorceress. She watched them with her pale blue, almond shaped dragon eyes.

Galadriel looked directly at Echo. 'I know you are there.' She said into the Mutant's mind, as she stopped running. A sea serpent roared and charged at Galadriel, but she did the simple thing. She dove under the water, holding her breath. She resurfaced again and jumped into the serpent's head.

"Fire Archer missiles, pods A5 through to B6." The Didact commanded. The AI hesitated and with good reason. He had just ordered the AI to fire over two hundred individual missiles. "Missiles away." it informed him. The Didact watched the missiles impact the serpents and waited for the smoke to clear. "Ready the scanner. Put it in Incineration mode." he said.

Galadriel jumped off the serpent's head as it fell down to the water from Didact's missiles. She landed on the water, and her eyes scanned her surroundings. The eagles were all engaged with the biggest serpent in the whole attack, per her orders. With a thought, Galadriel teleported above, to where Skye was busy shooting fireballs at the sea serpents.
"Skye, use your wits. These sea serpents are not mutations. They are works of fiction, like I am." She said in Quenya. Skye gaped.
"You mean they're-" She started, only for Galadriel to nod. Skye's eyes widened, as she nose dived to where the mantle approach was. "Didact! Stop firing! These aren't sea serpents! They're-" Skye's shouting was cut short as she was rammed by one of the serpents.

"What?" asked the Didact. "Power down." he said. The Mantle's Approach's weapons powered down. It hummed and vibrated. Didact realized he had just put himself in a very dangerous situation. In the time it would take the weapons to power up again, the serpents could have inflicted serious damage.

Galadriel cursed as she dove for Skye, trying to gain against her falling body by carelessly teleporting down, down, and down. She was running out of magic. She had overestimated herself once again, believing that without Nenya she could teleport over sixty times. She grit her teeth. If she didn't catch Skye with one more teleportation, both of them would go splat against the ocean waves. A sharp shriek came from behind, as she saw one of the eagles dive down faster then her. "SKYE! Get her first!" Galadriel said, as she once again teleported, to the back of the eagle. She held as tight as she could without choking it.

The Didact watched the scene. "Why, exactly, am I not still firing my weapons?" he asked. The AI started calculating. "It was rhetorical." snapped the Didact. The AI stopped calculating. The Didact had to restrain from powering up the weapons again.

All the serpents as one roared, even the dead ones. Then, they changed into a shadow which blotted the sun itself, and the world could see it. A dragon. It was huge, at the very least the size of a football field. It's wings spread out, giving off a reflection to the onlookers below. It's eyes were blood-red, glowing with a sinister light. Galadriel considerably paled, even as the eagle caught Skye. The dragon roared, a roar which sent fear into the hears of even the bravest warriors.

"CAN I FIRE AT IT NOW?" shouted the Didact, already powering up his weapons systems. "Why did I listen? Why did I just have to listen?" he muttered to himself, his hands flying over control panels.

"Don't! It's not going to attack unless you try to harm it!' Galadriel half shouted half pleaded. She knew the dragon personally. Quite personally, in fact. She cursed under her breath. The dragon folded it's wings and nose dived, quickly catching up with the eagle she and Skye were on.
"My, my, Galadriel, how you have grown after these past thousands of years I do hope there was no hard feelings about my little... feint back then." The dragon said, as he, at least it sounded like a he, grinned.

The Didact stopped half way through finding a firing solution. "That one's on you, Galadriel." he shouted. He sat down again and watched the scene.

"My my, how far you have fallen. Still as prideful and stubborn as always, I see."
"Jump to the point! We don't have the time for idle talk!" Galadriel shouted against the roar of the wind.
"You wound me! You said you would awayws have time if I visited!"
"I did not count on being transported to another world by your little twin!" Galadriel shrieked.
"Good point." The dragon sighed, as it halted it's descent, and caught the eagle, Skye and Galadriel with it. "But just so you know, Skye here isn't the One. She is not destined to bear Nenya. You know that... Somebody else, somebody more powerful is. She will not become an Immortal, my dear friend."
"I know, but I cannot help but wish there was a way."
"There is, but she;d probably kill herself first. Now let's get you down."

The Didact watched. He had all his weapons aimed at the dragon. He listened in on the conversation and all he heard was idle chat. He followed them down in the Approach.

The dragon landed softly, especially for a creature of his size. He gently placed down his passengers, and took certain care to not hurt their fragile wings. "Again with the Eagles. Don't you think that's a bit overkill, Galadriel?" He asked. She huffed, as she looked at the dragon. "Annatar... it's been two thousand years. Why have you come now?" She asked. She feared what might have brought the dragon, of all things, to Earth. The last time Annatar decided to get involved, the threat had been something which could possibly wipe out all of all realities.

The Approach landed nearby. The Didact walked off and took a look at the dragon. He looked at Galadriel. "Care to explain?" he asked, casually.
