"Care to explain exactly why in Tartarus is a Forerunner
here? And to add to that, actually, also why are they
here?" He asked, pointing at the gathered crowd, which
mostly were gaping at the massive dragon. "If I did, you would
think I was insane." She answered. She turned to Didact. "This is
Annatar, a friend of mine. He is most likely here to help, but
either way I suggest that you do not anger him." She answered.
"I'll keep that in the forefront of my mind." he said. He looked at
Annatar with a curious expression- a seemingly useless gesture due
to his helmet. "What and how do you know about the Forerunners?" he
asked.

"I am a traveler. I can travel between worlds at will. And
also at the command of a few people who I owe favors to."
He answered. "But I cannot return you to your homeworld. That
is something Regizier can only do. Oddly enough, if you ask me. So
who are you, little Forerunner?" He asked, turning his head
so that both his eyes were boring into Didact.
Annatar drew back as he gave out a laugh. He looked at Galadriel.
"I must say, he is a feisty one. Too bad even his time shall
come." He said, one of his eye looking at the group with
Didact and another scanning the crowd. His red eyes reminded many
of them of hatred, and blood lust. Finally, he refocused his
attention onto Didact. "So, Ur-Didact, did you really destroy
a whole continent on your version of Earth?" He asked,
grinning.
"Requiem? No, never on Requiem. That was on Earth. Long time ago,
when humans were a space-faring species. Three. Three continents.
There was a Flood outbreak and I had to glass them. It cost me a
small fortune to replace them, too." the Didact said.

Echo stayed in dragon form. She watched carefully, but knew the
others could see her, so she went underneath the frothing waves.
She surfaced again on a rock farther away, still watching the scene
carefully
"Three? Well then, the Elders must have been very loose with
you." Annatar mused, as he lifted his head high. "But
on to the more important business. I have news for you - news you
should not ignore. " His red eyes glanced at the crowd,
which were murmuring in apprehension. "As most of you know,
there are some among you who are immortal. This immortality can be
achieved through ascension, power, and birth. However, as things
stand now, one of you will gain immortality. One, and only one of
you. A Mutant, more specifically. I shall not reveal of whom I
speak. Neither will Galadriel, I assume. What you need to know,
though, that the Predators are grouping together under one leader,
called the Apex. He is, as some of you have experienced, nigh
indestructible. But, I suspect a greater power behind this strange
gathering. My twin brother, Regizier, is planning to wage war
against you. He plans to destroy you all, every male, female and
child. No mercy shall be given. This Earth shall burn. Atlantis
shall sink into the ocean once more. "
"But, there is a way to change that. As it stands now, Yondu
will not be capable to lead you out of this war alive. You will
need a new leader. One I shall let you choose, for good or ill. I
shall give you an hour to choose. Debate peacefully among
yourselves. Give to me the results. I shall be waiting."
Annatar said, as he slithered away into the ocean, to where Echo
was.

(Anyway, so we were battling with a dozen or so sea serpents, until
Galadriel realized it was something very powerful, and told Didact
to stop firing at the serpents. Just as Didact was halfway to
rebooting the weapons system, the serpents roared and came back to
life, before turning into a huge dragon. He is Annatar, an old
acquaintance of Galadriel's. He is there to help. Annatar questions
Didact and Galadriel about Didact's presence here, before he
announced for the mutants of Atlantis to choose a new leader in
place of Yondu, their current leader. Echo, is her dragon form,
watched everything from afar.)
(Well ok. That was a lot to take in. O3O)
Daphlia was wriggling and eventually started flying as the owl, but
was nearly swallowed by one of the sea serpents before they all
merged. She panicked and flew in Echo's direction. She landed next
to Echo, lying down, terrified.
"Careful where you sit, little Mutant." Annatar softly said,
as he appeared behind both Echo and Daphila. He was a lot smaller
now, only the size of a pony.
"Wh-wh-who're you?"'said Daphlia, constantly switching forms. She
soon turned to the elephant form and decided to kick some serpent
butt. She was about to swim into the water or fly over it to kill a
serpent, when she saw them all merge. She was a bit upset, but went
back to the island.
"Heh. Pitiful. I have to be thankful I won't be with them for
more than a hundred years. Too bad, I liked Didact." Annatar
mused, as he looked around at the scenery. He made a mental note to
explore some of the underwater currents later.
"One hour." Didact said. "It's obvious isn't it. We see who wants
to be leader. Out of that pool of people, we cancel out the least
qualified and work back from there. If everyone is happy with the
new leader, so be it. If not, we go to second choice and so on." He
said.

(I think there's a full recap on the sign-up thread, but I'll try
my best. We're on Atlantis and met some of the locals, including
their leader, Yondu. We fought some sea serpents which turned out
to be a dragon named Annatar, who happens to be an old friend of
Galadriel. He announces that Yondu probably won't survive the war
and they need a new leader. He's given us one hour to decide.)

Galadriel glanced nervously around as the mutants began to question
each other. She bit her lip, hoping that Annatar had made the right
decision. She gently touched Skye, as she searched for any internal
injuries that might have happened to the mutant. She found a
fractured bone, but nothing as severe as she had feared.
(Back. o3o)
Daphlia flew over to where Galadriel was and transformed into a
caterpillar. She took the bottle that had the sap in it and put
some more in, then handed it back to her. Transforming back to
normal she asked Galadriel "When will my sickness clear up..?" She
remembered her dream about what had happened before all of this.
She sighed and looked down.
