It's been a long and successful year for PokéHeroes in 2014 and another 365 days are behind us. But a new year is not the end of something, it's just always the start of something new and maybe different c:
What are your wishes or hopes for 2015? Do you plan on doing something different than last year? Have you fixed plans already? Tell us! We are interested in what you expect from another 365 days - both in your private life and on PokéHeroes :)
Speaking of myself, I'm looking forward to another year on PokeHeroes together with you, you and especially you (yeah, you, sitting in front of your screen right now! Hey there, feel hugged!)
In the next year, we will continue releasing events, features and quests for you - and we're already excited for your feedback! (I have so many ideas in mind, but time is always rare and valuable :b)
Anyway, to celebrate the start of a new year, I've prepared a new Quest for you! It's called
In this quest, all
you have to do is to collect as much information about the
mysterious Letter Pokémon as possible. Try to get all
EggDex and PokéDex entries of the 28 letters and
claim a special prize that may help you on your journey (at least
if Unown is part of your Favorite-Pokémon-List. Then the prize is
definitely useful and valuable).Your progress in this quest can be seen in the Ancient Cave. Remember that you unlock this location on Trainerlevel 10.
The following Pokémon can be obtained with a mega power from regular breeding starting today:
Glalie, 
Pidgeot,
AltariaAlso keep in mind that every
Kyogre,
Groudon and 
Rayquaza can
evolve with its legendary stone item. These do not need a special
mega ability.In the past few months, many of you have donated money to this site by buying premium upgrades. Thanks for your support, by the way! :)
As many of you know, our webserver has to be paid monthly with a rather high amount of money, but the number of members and donators is increasing monthly, and therefore I'm now finally able to buy a second server! Wohoo.
The second server will be mainly used for the Pal Pad, since it's easy to transfer this system to another server; but I may also use it for some other features. But you probably won't even notice the change - everything will still look the same :)
Only differences: I'll be able to extend the "Pal Pad timeout" to at least 30 minutes or even more. This means you won't have to refresh the page so often if you're afk and just casually responding to messages from time to time.
And secondly, the pal pad is a very busy and performance heavy feature on PokeHeroes, since it's constantly used by almost all of you. And moving it to a second, independent server will probably also improve the overall site performance a little. Means: more activity without lag, maybe a faster site load speed in general, and... yeah that's all lol. Reducing the lag and making heavy interaction even better.
The server move is scheduled for next week. I wanted to buy the second server in the past week already, but I was too busy with holiday stuff. Sorry for that c:
Anyways, the pal pad will probably be offline for a few minutes (or maybe an hour), so please don't be scared! The rest of the site shouldn't be affected by it.
A frosty creature returns to Emera Town! It's finally winter and it started snowing in Emera Town. This it the perfect condition for a well-known legendary Pokémon to return!
As most of you know, this special Winter Event is an interaction event and we're expecting high activity again. I wanted to perform the already mentioned server move before starting this Winter Event, so we can hopefully enjoy it without any lag. So please don't be mad that I can't start it right away! I will start this event as soon as I can and a more detailed announcement for this event follows soon.
