I support this, and just an add on suggestion I think would help:
This could be edited, but maybe when we click on a Pokemon, there would be a button somewhere on their page to make a bio for them. From there, we could name the bio and write it. After it's written, it could go to a link on a user's page, and when someone other than the user clicks on it, it shows all the bios the user has made and the pokémon's sprite next to it. For the user who has written the bio, there could be a link in the 'Home' section (or maybe settings... Whichever one works) to view and edit the bios.

Support, I would actually use this on a couple Pokemon. One thing I'd use this for would be to explain why I named my shiny Dragonair what I did. :P

this thread has been idle for a long time, but i'd like to bump it and add a reason it would be nice to have this feature - that being if a pokemon was in the current wonder trade experiment, perhaps notes and such could be added on to the pokemon as it progresses through the line to its target

You have my full support on this suggestion. I've been trying to find a thread like this, since I like giving my characters personality and back stories. Fuku Ryu would have a back story if this were added to the site, since I don't want to waste a post in my journal for all of my individual pokemon to get their stories listed there >.< (and they aren't long enough for fanfics)

Full support! This would be excellent for many of the different reasons:

*Stories/Info for Special Pokemon, PokeSonas, or even characters
*Giving notes around, for giving messages via Wonder Trade etc.
*Simple things like at what chain number it was hatched on

This would help me so much for my characters, so I can put the information about it right there on its page~ Anyway, bumping it!

With how many pokemon I would want to give little snippits of, that one post would be a total wreck or be massively long, or just wouldn't convey what I wanted correctly. However, putting it on the individual pokemon, it would be organized, in a small page, and great to link to for RPs revolving around the character.

Another option for this would be to allow users to have links to their pokemon's summary. (Like how we have the contact links on our profiles) that way we could link images of the pokemon or link to an off-site description of the character. (Like I would use sta.sh to organize this all properly, or use charahub, which at the moment can't be linked to individual pokemon.)

So while you may just use the diary, I personally would love to avoid that if at all possible, as it's really easy to get messy. And with the link to individual posts being iffy at best, I could link to the post of a character of mine, if I made my diary ONLY about my characters, and the user may or may not know which post they were supposed to read due to the page not scrolling to where it was supposed to.

So, the main reason I still support this, whole-heartedly, is for organization reasons. And for anyone who still doesn't support due to it being too similar to another fan-site, well, I gave an option that I don't think the other fan-sites have used, but I can't say for a fact that they haven't.
