This suggestion is a couple simple, I bet this suggestion was made before, if yes, I'm sorry.

Well, I suggest to, when you release a pokemon holding a item, this item be sent to your bag, instead of discarded with your PKMN.

I think this is a very good idea,
If you are thinking about releasing a pokemon and it has an item on it. For some reason, (I.e. Item trading or as a gift) and you don't notice that it's still on it, it would be a good idea so you can keep the item, if you don't want the item, you can go to the shop and recycle it for some PokeDollars.

There's still option to take item. But sometimes you may accidenly release the pokemon with item.

But I have a idea to make it more good.
The idea is when you release a pokemon which has item it should say: "Are you sure? You want to release this pokemon with Ever Stone(or any other item)?" and it'll give this: "Yes!" or "No! Take the item and release him/her/it!" as answers.

Hope my idea is enough good.

This is covered under this suggestion which is for mass selection of deleting pokemon.

But, it's an edit into it, and may have been overlooked (as is implied by Riako's comment)

So I'll bring up the same points in this thread ;)

1) Have it where pokemon holding items aren't released
2) Have an option to remove items from all selected pokémon / All pokemon in the box.

Edit: The problem with just sending it to the bag is if I forgot that I had a pokemon holding it, I might think it's a bug where I got an extra one of that item from somewhere. (Namely random gems that pokemon are holding from trades when I haven't brought back rumblers or played the royal tunnel/right slots.)

Implemented!

This also applies to merging evolutions where two Pokémon are merged into one (and thus one of them is "released"), as well as wonder trades where your Pokémon is exchanged by a secret pass code.
