My suggestion is that there should be a popup confirmation for bidding on an auction. Let's say I want to bid 5,000 Pokedollars on a pokemon. I would put in "5000" but I could also accidentally put in 50000 and not realize it in time. Well, unless somebody outbids me, I lost an amount of PD on a pokemon I never wanted to bid. So my suggestion is to have a popup with the amount of PD you want to bid. It'd say something like:
"Are you sure you want to bid 5,000 Pokedollars on this auction?"

Another alternative to this is for the system to automatically add commas to the numbers (so when a number reaches 4 digits, it'll add a comma and so on), but I'm not sure if this is possible for this kind of site. Still a possibility, though.

What do you guys think?

Full support, it would be cool if you also got a confirmation when you put the starting bid.

i don't really want a popup getting in my way when i'm already careful about the bid i put in, but if the option could be toggled for those who actually might want this, sure

Sorry but I won't support. Think if you need to bid really quick just to win a pokemon then suddenly a pop-up came are you sure to bid this amount of pokedollar??
So... You lost that auction.
It would be a waste of time too

So you're saying that it'll making sniping more difficult? Even more of a reason to want this! :,D

I added an alternative method. I'm not sure if that one's possible to implement, though.

Lol xD I so agree with this.. This is one of the reasons why I rarely bid in the auction house anymore :X

Full support it'd be nice to know if the amount you're putting in is correct... Of course this would make those who like getting that extra PD lose out...but they'll live xD

No support, sorry. People who create auctions (and also who bid on auctions) have to be attentive enough when they type in a price. Just because this is a site for kids, it's not a reason for not checking a bid before posting. :P

Generally I support foolproof workflows, but in this case I think it is not required.

edit: but I would like the idea of the comma-thing you were talking about. :>

This isn't so much for people who create auctions but for people who bid on them. People make mistakes and this one could be costly (literally). And it's not just kids who make these mistakes. Anybody can.

Support with the suggestion to switch it on and off included.
Although I would also like this in the daycare. I put 50k into there on accident because my phone messed up and added another zero to my entry ^^

I fully support this aswell. I know that some people would not use it/don't see any use it in it - but I do - I've lost pd like that before and it can be really annoying. It would also help reducing sniping - which is good aswell- I mean sniping is ok but it's not ok when people just come- snatch pokemon than they are like: "i snipped it- didn't even need it - I just threw it back into auction house/Gts for higher price" - while someone who really needed it for dex or huntint didn't get a chance to get it due to sniping.

It happened on me.
Went to bid 7.5k and bidded 75k just becoz was in hurry.
Now I want, it should not happen with anyone else in future.
And Bump~

And, everyone make sure, it will have toggle here in the form of safe mode.
When it is on, It will be seen.

Full, full support. I've had this happen too many times; for me it's bc my computer sometimes auto-fills the amounts and I don't get the chance to correct it before I click "bid". However, it seems like this perhaps could be a toggle-able thing, as it would make it difficult to "be fast with bidding", as the Auction House says.
