''should i be worried..? cause if not.. i'm going back to sleep...'' she started growling faintly.
''going back to sleep... night everyone..'' buster said walking back into the cave.
swift walked over to them and looked this wolf that had came into the grotto.
''who is he luna?'' she asked tilting her head.

His violet eyes seemed pale, as he began to answer Swift's question. "I'm Dragon, Blue's-" Luna cut him off. "This is Dragon, an old friend of mine."
The ebony she-wolf cringed for a few seconds, but shrugged it off. "We're going to the prairie, we got some catch up to do..."
Luna nodded at the honey-brown she-wolf. Dragon and Luna padded off to the prairie, pressed against each other.
"Blue," Swift heard Dragon say but the rest was cut off as they went further, crunching the frost below them.

''so buster.. you still haven't told me what you were trying to say earlier..'' she said walking back into the cave.
buster just lifted his head up and suddenly pinned his ears back, as if he was afraid to even say what he wanted to tell her.
''buster... your acting weird, answer me please'' she said her voice softened.
he looked up almost with shock that her voice had became soft like this.
''what?'' she tilted her head as she curled up beside him.
''nothing...'' he muttered, he rested his muzzle back onto his paws closing his eyes.
swift shook her head, its like he is trying to avoid something.
she closed her eyes and fell fast asleep as well.

It was barely dark, but the sunset colors were dim and quiet beneath the crunchy snow. The he-wolf sat down next to the ebony wolf, as he brushed the snow around him. He began to speak, in a soft, soothing voice. "Blue, I really-" The she-wolf, Luna batted her fluffy tail on his snout. "Shh... I hear something." She whispered calmly, but there was hostility in her light, clear voice.
Luna nodded at a white she-wolf, who was resting beneath the rocky cliff they were on. She seemed lost, as the ebony wolf inspected everything she could see about her. Luna's nose cringed as the white one swiveled her ears as rose up from her resting pose. Her snout shot into the air as she let out a strong, spine-tingling howl. Luna was certain she knew this howl, as she nodded at Dragon.
In question, Luna murmured. "Cloud?" Dragon shook his head. "No way... I mean, it can't be her!" he grunted in disbelief. "That howl, the pelt... Even the eyes... Dragon its her!" Luna nudged him harshly with her shoulder. Dragon sighed. "I guess so, but its too steep for us to get down alive." he tensed. "She can get up. If its really Cloud, it should be no struggle." Luna assured.
In sync, they both stuck up their snouts in the air and let out a howl, as if in rage. The white she-wolf perked up her ears as she spotted them. Without hesitation, she leaped onto the rock and climbed to the two. "Blue! Dragon!" she cried in delight. They both looked down at her, she was in such a tattered state. There was stained blood over her forehead, she was wounded with scratches and marks. Her beautiful, sleek white coat was drizzled in mud and dirt.
"Cloud! You look terrible..." Luna barked sadly. "The pack... They threw me out and I traveled along, hoping to find something..." Cloud whimpered. Dragon's ears swiveled. "We could bring her to the grotto and let her heal," he nodded. Cloud grunted, but she knew it was best. She was practically a born loner, and she was very sensitive about help. "I- Oh fine..." she barked. "Only for a while though, I need to get going." Dragon shook out his glossy, gray pelt. The white on his face made it hard to see the snow flecks. The black rims on his coat seemed like burn marks. The three made their way to the grotto by it got dark, also catching a young fawn. Their laughs had woke Swift up, by the most.

''alright...'' he replied shivering from the cold.
swift walked out of the cave stiffing up from the cold.
''did you bring- oh never mind, you did catch something'' she said coming up to luna and dragon.
''and.. who's your friend..?'' she said tilting her head at the new comer to the grotto.
''wait there's someone new in the grotto..?'' buster barked from inside the cave.
buster if your so curious come out here... she thought shaking her head.
once both swift and buster ate a small amount since there wasn't much, they both cleared spots under one of the willow trees.
''its so cold... i wish spring would hurry up..'' buster muttered.
''well buster, your coat is probably shorter then ours'' swift said looking at the other three wolves.
he just sighed and rested his muzzle on his paws.
''you've always hated the cold buster'' she teased.
''oh ha ha, very funny swift...'' he grumbled.
she just shook her head.
he always acts this way when its cold she thought chuckling.
swift rested her muzzle onto her paws as she curled up beside buster.
buster lifted his head up and looked down at swift his ears pinned back.
he looked a little bit confused.
but then he started to smile a little resting his muzzle back onto his paws.

Cloud dipped her head in greeting.
She wiped the blood off her large paws gingerly, as she spoke in a raspy, loud voice.
"I was in Blue's old pack," she said.
Gruffly, Cloud flattened her chest fur as her ears swiveled.
Dragon slammed the large fawn on the ground, as he said one word. "Food."
Luna nodded as she took two large bites of the fawn and went back in the cave.
She pressed her side against the cold, rocky floor of the cave, a tingle going down her spine.
Her bright green eyes saw Dragon come in, as he lay down beside her.
His warm back pressed against her side.

''alpha, i know the one wolf that left you those scars... she is my sister'' the short she-wolf spoke with confidence.
''your sister? hm.. maybe that could work to our advantage-'' he started to say but was cut off.
''sorry to be a bit rude alpha.. but i don't feel like fooling my sister, she is smart, she could figure out your plan'' rose said sitting down.
''your probably right...'' he said dipping his head to her.
swift yawned and opened her eyes.
buster shifted in his sleep a little but didn't wake up.
just like him to sleep in... its dawn.. better check around, if scar was near... i won't let him have another chance... she thought standing and stretching her stiff muscles.
''swift..? you alright?'' buster said sleepily.
''i'm fine.. just sleep alright buster..?'' she replied softly to him.
she nuzzled his ear and walked out of the grotto tail swaying a little.
he looked up and watched her leave the grotto.
buster started to grin from ear to ear.
''okay.. i must be dreaming...'' he muttered to himself.

Title: About 2 moons later...
"Wha-" he rolled off her. The three laughed together, as Luna batted Dragon's ear. It was humid, the morning was floored in a light coat of soft frost. Cloud sighed wearily. Luna's ears pinned back. "Cloud..." The white she-wolf interrupted her. "I have to return to my travels now, my friend. I thank you for all that you have done for me, you are nothing like Aqua." She grumbled at the name Aqua.
So did the other two. Luna sighed. "Goodbye, Cloud. We will meet again soon..." she nodded. Dragon said his goodbye as well. The she-wolf winced as she watched Cloud walk away, but she knew they'd never be together forever. Still, Swift didn't know who these two really were to her. Luna and Dragon went out of the grotto, a familiar white timber wolf rammed into Luna.
To her reactions, she side stepped it as he lunged into the rock. "Blue!" Dragon screeched in shock, as Swift and Buster had just arrived to see Scar. "Let me take this one, its been moons since i've been in action!" the gray he-wolf cheered. Chuckling, Luna stepped back to let Dragon handle it. It was so much like him. Quickly, Dragon slammed into the timber wolf, forcing him to fall over. His claws slashed over his side, blood oozing out. Dragon seemed disappointed.
"This isn't a challenge at all!" he complained. Luna reassured. "I'll battle practice with you later," she barked as Dragon bit off half of Scar's ear. Two wolves had scrambled out of the bushes, a short she-wolf that looked a bit like Swift and the alpha of that mangy pack. The short she-wolf yowled in fury. "Get your dirty claws off my packmate!" she screeched. Dragon nodded.
"Blue, i'll take the she-wolf, and you can take the alpha." The ebony she-wolf lunged at the alpha, slamming him to the ground. Her hind claws dug into his tail, her front claws wrenching in his shoulderblades as he wriggled. Dragon had already pinned the she-wolf down, who was yowling desperately. Luna scratched up the alpha to weaken him, as she had misplaced his left front wrist already.

''wait that's your sister swift?'' buster asked confused.
swift growled at dragon and helped her sister up.
''rose what are you doing here..? and with scar and that weakling alpha?'' she asked tilting her head.
''i came to talk! and keep that mangy mutt away from me!'' she snarled glaring at dragon.
rose's dark green eyes were blazing with anger.
''calm down, luna, keep him pinned, dragon, pin scar down, not taking any chances'' she told both of them.

Luna spoke calmly to Rose. "If I ever see you again alone, if you insult Dragon... You won't make it out alive." her nostrils flared. The alpha stared in disbelief, as Dragon muttered into Luna's ear about calming down. Luna nudged the gray he-wolf on the side, murmuring something back. The alpha grumbled. "Y-" Luna cut him off. "Oh I forgot about the idiot," she sighed as padded over to him.
He slashed a poorly-aimed claw to Luna's face, but it missed. Even while he was ready, Luna was able to Slam him to the ground with a single paw. Her claws slashed down his spine, as he went into the same state as Scar. Luna and Dragon sat behind Swift, pressed against each other. "Blue," Dragon spoke in his calm voice but the rest dropped into a whisper. Luna's ears pinned back, as she spoke louder than she meant to. "Don't remind me..." Luna grunted and cleansed the blood off her paws.
Luna's amber eyes glowed with rage, as Dragon pressed his snout against her shoulders. "Calm down and listen," he murmured soothingly. Luna sighed as she nudged him with her nose, and listened once more to Swift and her sister, Rose.

''she is the only family i've got left..'' swift muttered a little to loudly.
''um.. i'll just..'' he started to stammer but was cut off by rose.
''who is this cute wolf here?'' rose exclaimed walking over to buster.
oh great... not again she thought growling.
''um...'' buster gulped and pinned his ears back.
''rose leave him alone!'' swift snarled.
''or what? gonna hurt your sister? your only family left?'' she growled back at swift.
''please don't drag me into this...'' he whimpered.

But Dragon held her back by the scruff, tugging her away from a fight. "Blue!" he scolded. The ebony she-wolf finally sat down, in so much rage that she didn't feel Dragon dig his claws in her fluffy tail to restrain her. She growled vigorously, her lip curled into a snarl. "Blue," Dragon began, but the she-wolf snapped at him. "I know I know!" Rose chuckled tauntingly. "I thought your name was Luna, not Blue,." Rose said. Luna began to stand, but she winced a bit as Dragon tightened his grip on her tail.

''what am i supposed to do?! drag my pack-mates one at a time back to the camp?'' she exclaimed.
''i could help..'' buster offered but that idea was quickly objected.
my sister has caused enough trouble... she thought bitterly.
''no need.. if you clearly don't want to talk in either way then fine...'' scar muttered stiffly standing.
''good, now leave!'' she barked with anger.
scar grabbed the alpha wolf by the scruff and carefully dragged him off with rose right beside him.
''buster i don't trust my sister as much as i used to..'' she sighed faintly.
swift walked over to him and touched noses with him for only a second before walking back into the grotto.
he just stood there blinking, the fur on his face turning a faint red.
''did swift just touch her nose to mine...?'' he said still blinking with confusion.

The full-moon was visible, as it sprinkled glimmering dusts of a pale light that ordered the wavy pond to reflect. Luna pressed against the curved willow tree, as her ears flicked. It was silent, only to be broken by the rustles of the willow leaves being drawn together and the rushed flicks of water. The ebony she-wolf rose to her paws slowly, as she barely wobbled. Her front left forepaw shrunk into the mud, dampened by the shallow level of water. A chill stroke through her, as if it had frozen her.
The muscular, thin she-wolf slipped into the water, the waves reaching her chin. She whipped her hindlegs, yanking off the muddy ground. Her heavy coat seemed to disagree with her actions, as the she-wolf felt a slight yank down. Her heart took a wild pounce as she heard a rustle behind her. She jerked around, for a split-second she thought it was Rose. No, it was Swift. Luna heaved out of the water, her pelt nearly dragging her down. Giving a stern shake of her pelt, the drips of liquids swung airborne around.

''luna..? what are you doing up so late...'' she yawned.
swift stood up for a minute to stretch her stiff muscles then lay back down.
she looked at the sky seeing that the moon was still high up in the sky.
''hey.. i am gonna go wake buster up..'' she said yawning once more then headed for the cave.
swift came back out of the cave with buster walking right beside her.
''me and buster are gonna go to the old hill we were by before i found the grotto oka-'' she looked at luna seeing she was already fast asleep.
''come on buster..'' she whispered and walked out of the grotto.
''alright..'' he said yawning, he walked after her without a word.
''its so beautiful tonight.. and its easier to see at night with the full moon'' swift said looking up at the sky.
''hey.. remember when the whole pack used to join up and start howling? how about we howl for old times sake?'' he said grinning at her.
swift smiled at that, she hasn't howled in a while, so a good howl would be great.
they both raised their muzzles to the sky and howled in perfect sync, almost sounding like a melody.

Luna woke up to find Dragon touching his nose at the tip of her right ear, whispering to her. "Blue, wake up..." The ebony she-wolf jerked her head and forced herself to rise. Her right ear swiveled, as the he-wolf shook his glossy, long coat of gray fur, which had been singed by hairs of black. They padded out into the humid temperature, Luna was glad it was dry for once.
Sitting down by the willow tree, Luna nudged the gray he-wolf. "Now tell me... What happened with... The pack." she cringed. Right then, Swift and Buster had come back, but neither of the two had noticed. Dragon replied mournfully. "Shade had died a half-moon after you left," Luna cocked her head. "Isn't it Flare's job, the precious beta, to take over?" Dragon paused. "Flare got ahead of himself. A pack of omegas-who was it?..." Dragon started to wonder out loud. "Oh yes! Amber, Cherry and Bird. Well, you see... Amber fell in love with Bird, which was still against the rules, and Cherry killed Amber from being... Overtempered. Bird had majorly hurt Cherry in rage, and Flare left Cherry behind because she was too hurt, and kicked out Bird."
Luna nodded, listening. "Cloud had left because this had changed to much, and on the rest of the pack began to starve. Blue..." Dragon tensed. Luna murmured. "Yea?..." The he-wolf sighed. "Flare knew. I figured it out and quit before he could do any... Well, damage." Dragon sighed. Luna remained silent, as Dragon rose to his paws. "I'm going to the prairie for a while..." He padded away. Remaining silent, Luna lay down and fell asleep once more.

''it was great to howl again...'' swift said laying down.
''yeah it was....'' he agreed laying down beside her.
swift smiled a little at buster, he may be a pain, but he was the sweetest wolf she had ever met.
a little bit after he closed his eyes, swift nuzzled his ear then rested her muzzle onto her paws.
buster looked at swift and smiled, he gave her ear a nuzzle in return before falling asleep.
they were both fast asleep, since they were up all night howling.

"Blue, wake up..." he mumbled softly to her, pressing his nose against hers. Luna remained asleep. "Blue...." He murmured again. Luna shuffled, but was still asleep.
"I got antelope..." The she-wolf's eyes shocked open. "Antelope?" she barked.
"Yes!" Dragon laughed, and they both ate half of the antelope, leaving some for Buster and Swift.

''antelope..?'' buster barked sleepily from inside the cave.
swift already took a few bites before buster walked out of the cave to eat.
after they both at swift went and curled up on a sunning rock, her golden-brown coat glimmering in from the sun-rays.
buster finished his meal and sat by the pond looking at the reflection.
''i'm bored...'' swift muttered.
buster just looked up from the pond and looked at swift.
''well look who is bored for a change!'' she teased with a huge grin.
''don't make me ram you into that pond buster'' she said laughing.
then he started to laugh.

Luna paused as she looked up a Swift. "Heads up!" She woofed and rammed Dragon into the pond. Dragon pinned her to the bottom of the lake and nipped her ear. Luna jerked over, drowning his for a few seconds. "ROAR!" Luna yowled as Dragon plummeted her in the water. She jerked back up, landing on him.
