She looked down at Venom. His jaws departed, revealing small yet sharp pure-white teeth that made Luna's eyes sparkle.
The pup yawned, and curled up tightly in her tail for warmth. "Venom? He was taken by those brutes that we defeated earlier, but he had the wits to escape. He said that his parents stood alone, meaning they were loners, and he was taken far away. So Dragon and I took him under our care. He actually won't remember anything further, since he's too young." She replied.

swift sighed.
''some pup's wont.....'' she muttered.
she yawned and a few small gray bristle's come into view on her muzzle.
''the next few journey's of the sun and moon dog's will be tough.... but we'll get through'' she assured, still using leashed dog logic from being in half breed and leashed dog pack's.
then she tilted her head at luna curiously.
''so... are you and dragon planning on any pup's in the near future?'' she asked, changing the subject.

Luna stared on the horizon blankly. "No." She replied hollowly. She was about to lash her tail, but restrained the urge since Venom was using it for warmth.

swift chuckled calmly, her eye's gleaming with amusement.
''did i forget to mention about a couple other young wolves in my vision...? a young she-wolf with the same fur and eye color as dragon and a young he-wolf with your fur and eye color..'' she muttered.

"Gah, shut your trap Swift..." Luna grunted jokingly. "Possibly just us when we were younger," She said, but by the tone of her voice she didn't really believe it.

The ebony wolf's ears flicked abruptly as she heard a twig crack. Looking at Swift, she sent an eye-message to the golden-brown she-wolf. It was so clear, she might as well be speaking in telepathy. 'Quiet. Did you hear that?' Her emerald-green eyes said.

A shaggy-furred golden-brown wolf burst out of the rustling bushes, her lip curled into a snarl and her claws flexing murderously. Her violet-purple eyes showed anger. "What are you doing here?" She sneered. Surprisingly calm, Luna's gaze locked with the angry wolf's. "What right do we have not to be here, Rose? I doubt you have the strength to drive us out. Go ahead and try, I'm not looking for a fight though." Luna retorted, her nose scrunching. "Besides, don't you have a pack to attend to?" She grumbled.

rose growled loudly.
yeah, i do... but alpha want's those other two pup's on our side.. so sis, hand them over....!'' she demanded.
''not in a million year's rose!!!'' swift snarled.
the two she wolves collided and started fighting, teeth and claw's raking and snapping where ever they could catch fur.

Luna stayed put. She had Venom to protect, but the he-pup stirred at the sound of the racket, and peeked over her bushy ebony tail to see Rose. He squirmed out of Luna's tail and before she could catch him, yelled in a very loud voice for a pup, "Stop fighting!" Luna glanced at Venom. His deep flame-like green eyes flared (the first time Luna's ever seen his eyes like that) and his tiny bristle-sharp claws dug into the ground. His fur was raised.

If Rose reports this to their Alpha they might want Venom too, Luna thought. She grabbed Venom by the scruff and pulled him back in her tail. He looked up at her apologetically, but her gaze seemed to sparkle. "You did well, young one." She said. Looking up at Rose, the two had stopped fighting. "Rose. Forget about taking the pups.
Those pups are important to me; if you ever dare want them, you'll have to go through Swift. And me. And Dragon. And Buster. And Hazel. And Chester," She growled. "You won't even make it past me, Rose, because I'm very sure I'm speaking for all of us when I say we'll fight for our lives." Luna snapped.

Luna watched Rose run off in silence. Scooping Venom up by the scruff once more, she followed Swift into the cave. The airy breeze cast in the cave seemed wistful and hollow. Draco bounded up to Luna, seeing Swift's angry expression. "The pack that took Sapphire wanted you and Thorn, too. Promise me you won't go?" Luna murmured softly to Draco. "I promise," He whispered.

chester and hazel were no where in the cave, so they had went to go hunt.
swift and buster both were in the back talking.
thorn and moon were playing together near the hiding spot in case any more wolves try to attack.
draco sniffed at venom curiously and wagged his tail.
''a new play fighting buddy! once he is old enough i'll teach him everything about how to play fight!!'' draco yipped cheerfully.

Venom looked at Draco, knowing they'd be friends immediately. "Let's say I'm old enough now?" Venom chirped hopefully.

Venom gave a growl and scratched vigorously at Draco, having no tactics at all. Luna chuckled lightly. She didn't say anything about being careful with him, though. "Swift, I think it's time we move again. Move away from the pack. Plus I think it'll be easier to raise the pups in a grotto rather than a mountain cave. I'm sure they'll love a grotto," Luna said.

swift nodded in agreement then walked over.
''i think that's a good idea... but where? the only grotto i knew of was the one near that pack...'' she muttered.
draco ran around swift and luna in a figure-eight laughing as venom chased after him.
''can't catch me! i'm as fast as my mom!!'' he laughed.
''no fair draco! slow down!'' venom cried, though not sounding the least bit upset.
