sapphire growled loudly, her hackle's raising.
she ran after him and tackled him to the ground, a chao's of yelp's and snarling breaking out as they started fighting.
thorn and buster both stood at the cave entrance as they both dropped their hunting catch in sync.
the oldest he-pup ran in an rammed into sapphire, pinning her to the ground just as she swiped her paw over draco's eye making him yelp and tumbled away, running to buster whimpering.
he stopped draco with his paw and gently lifted his muzzle up to look at the pup's eye, which caused buster's ear's to pin back.
''let me at that runt now!'' sapphire bellowed in rage.
''no! that 'runt' sapphire is our brother and your not going to hurt him!!'' thorn snapped, causing the young she-pup to flinch, all the rage in her eye's draining.
buster was nuzzling draco soothingly while tear's streamed from his eye's, a few of the tear's coming from one of his eye's being red.
swift ran over and sniffed her littlest pup over carefully.
sapphire walked over with her ear's flattened.
''draco i.. i didn't mean-'' she started to say but got cut off by draco.
''leave me alone sapphire!!'' he snapped, now looking at her.
now that draco was looking up, the damage could be seen clear as day.
a scar ran across his eye, and a clear claw mark over his left eye causing the red tear's, he was blinded in one eye now.
sapphire backed away horrified, looking at her paw she used then back up at her little brother.
thorn just stood where he was, his eye's widened.

"Thorn. Let go of your sister," Luna barked, her head snapping towards the tumbled two, her lip curled as her teeth bared with a snarl. "Sapphire... I don't know what to say to you." She growled, her emerald-green eyes enraged. She nuzzled Draco, who shivered with his head bent down. "Show me your face, young one." She murmured softly. Draco looked up to her, as she stared into his wounded eye. She sent Buster a look that said, I can't help this, but not out loud. Not with the pup in earshot.

sapphire pinned her ear's back, tear's streaming.
she ran to the back of the cave and hid behind a huge stone.
draco seen the look luna gave his father and pinned his ear's back, his fur streaked with red tear's on the left side of his face.

The wolf's ruffled, ebony-black fur blew in the wind sorrowfully as she bent down and nudged the little pup's head softly with her nose in comfort. "Draco, I promise that the infection won't spread to your other eye. You'll be fine and just as strong as ever, possibly even better," She said softly, her voice warm and reassuring as she whispered into the pup's ear. She softly used a clump of moss to wipe the blood off Draco's face, her emerald-green eyes glinting with sympathy that only the pup saw. The kind of sympathy that showed when someone had experienced the same thing...

draco sighed and rubbed his muzzle and sneezed.
''i feel like i don't belong here..... now i end up with a blind eye.......'' he muttered with a silent whimpered.
thorn walked over and sat down near them, his ear's pinned back.
''you do belong here little brother.. don't let anyone tell you otherwise'' thorn said calmly.
moon even walked over and nodded in agreement.
draco nodded at thorn and moon smiling.

sapphire glared out from behind the rock she was hiding behind growling.
draco will pay...! she thought gritting her teeth.
she went to a crack in the cave wall and dug under it, running away toward's a forest that was all too familliar to the older wolves, and they didn't even know she ran away yet.

Title: Later on when they actually noticed...

Dragon and Luna where glancing around in the forests, looking for Sapphire. While also having their quality time together. "So do you think Sapphire will be angry or ashamed?" Dragon asked, Luna's side warm against his. It was cold. He didn't mind. Luna shrugged, which he didn't even need to see, since he could feel it. "She's complicated for a pup." She replied hollowly, shrugging. "Leave me alone!" Came a snarl from nearby. Sapphire! Dragon thought immediately, and ran towards the sound, giving a large leap over the Mulberry bushes that would make a mama horse proud (yes, I actually typed that). Sapphire, ears pinned back in an annoyed way, as now face-to-face with a younger pup. The pup was that young, that it wouldn't remember a lot of things. It's probably lost, Dragon thought. "Go away!" Sapphire shrieked, growling.
"P-please... I-i just..." The young, triple-colored pup whimpered. It was obviously scared, and Dragon could tell it'd been lost for quite a while. Sticks and leaves where tattered into the young he-pup's fur, it was muddied. Although, not muddied enough to cover the creamy-white underbelly the pup had, and its emerald-green eyes flared bright.

Sapphire was about to leap onto the pup when Luna leaped into the scene, completely out of Dragon's handle, and picked the young lost he-pup by the scruff. Their eyes had a slight resemblance, although Luna's were brighter and more fierce. "Sapphire! Its a pup." She scolded to the half-shocked half-angered Sapphire. The pup wailed and squirmed, afraid in the stranger's grip. Although, the pup seemed to calm down a little as he knew that Luna'd just saved him from a good pelt of wounds and scratches. Dragon rushed next to her, as he favorites Sapphire for a reason Luna didn't understand, and could always calm her down. Dragon was the one who made Sapphire feel good. While Dragon comforted her, Luna gently squeezed information out of the pup. "Where do you come from, young one?" She asked, softly.
"I-i... I was taken f-from my p-p-parents by these... M-mean wolves w-who wanted to e-eat me.." The pup said, shivering. He obviously trusted strangers easily, as he snuggled into Luna's tail for warmth and coziness. "Do you know where your parents are?" Luna asked. The pup shook his head. "N-no... Th-they took m-me far away. I-i e-escaped." He said, barely making the sentence out. Dragon was now listening, and their gaze locked as they made a silent decision. They'd keep the pup as their own. He was too young to remember anything when he grew up if he stayed under their care, and he was old enough to feed on prey.

sapphire growled and bared her teeth at them.
''leave me alone!!'' she yelled and dashed off so fast she was out of sight.

sapphire skidded to a stop and about rammed into another wolf.
''careful young one...'' the voice said calmly.
''sorry........'' sapphire murmured.
the wolf smiled and sat down, curious on why the pup was alone.
her head tilted at the older wolf.
''you...... you look like my mother..'' she muttered.
''that's because i am... and your her pup? how cute! swift and buster must have gotten together'' she said flopping down onto her belly.
sapphire backed up a little, unsure if she should run or not.
rose chuckled in amusement.
''i know what your thinking little one... never trust a strange wolf am i correct?'' rose asked.
sapphire nodded.
''but if your my mothers sister.. then you wouldn't be a strange wolf'' she noted.
''your right... come along, i'll take you to my pack'' she said and sapphire followed.

Luna stuck her snout into the air, following the pup's scent. Dragon followed a bit behind her, carrying the young he-pup. Luna dashed at an astonishing speed, but skidded to a stop with her tail swiping violently as she saw a short, honey-blonde figure. Sapphire was following behind her. "Rose." She growled, her emerald-green eyes flaming furiously. Sapphire unfortunately saw this dangerous side of Luna, the one she'd never imagined before. Dragon picked up Sapphire by the scruff and dragged her out of the scene. "My dear Luna can get very vicious, young Sapphire. I can't forgive myself if you get hurt," He muttered reassuringly.
Luna, growling, trucked through Dragon and growled, almost nose-to-nose with Rose. "Stay away from the pups. Even if this one is temperamental, I will shred you to dust if you lay a claw on her," Luna snapped, her paw lashing towards Rose's cheek and slashing against it. She lunged to Rose's side, bowling her over, and sent her to the ground pinning her with her claws dug into her wrists.

rose growled loudly in protest.
''i wouldn't dare hurt my grandpup! i ain't that cruel!!'' she yelled.
sapphire squirmed and got free of dragons grip.
''i've chosen my path aunt luna! uncle dragon!! leave me alone!!!!!'' she snarled and slashed her claws over dragon's nose then ran, swiping her claws against luna's nose, then both rose and sapphire ran off, running through streams to cover their tracks this time.

Dragon rushed after the two, the pup still in his jaw. Luna picked up the pup out of his grip and into hers, outstretching a paw that he tripped over. He flipped onto his back, staring at her in a confused way. "She's chosen her path." Luna said to him, setting the pup down. "What if she comes to battle us?" Dragon asked, worried. "We'll fight her." Luna lapped her tongue over the pup's fur, grooming it. The pup looked up to her in a trusting way, but then asked, "What about my parents?" His eyes shone with worry. The pup was so innocent and apologetic.
Dragon rose to his paws, sitting next to Luna. "How about we're your parents now?" He said softly, locking gaze with the pup. The pup nodded, a bit excited, in confirmation. "What will I be called?" The pup asked. "Venom," Luna said simply, Dragon nodding. "Let's go back to the Cave. Come along, Venom," Dragon said, rising once more and back to the cave as the two followed.

"We're back." Said Dragon, his voice echoing in the cave. Buster's head rose, his ear perked up. Hazel groggily limped over to greet Luna--they were friends now--, but her eyes brightened as she saw Venom. "Aww! Whose this?" She asked, practically bouncing as she saw the pup. "Venom," Luna replied, nuzzling the pup. The pup looked to Luna, with his innocent eyes. "Who is that?" He asked. "That is your... Aunt Hazel," Luna said with hesitation. Swift came along too, and she'd probably ask about Sapphire...

swift didn't even notice the pup that luna and dragon foung, she was just worried about her pup.
''luna, where's sapphire...?'' she asked quietly.

Her eyes flared. "Sapphire's gone off with your sister." She grumbled flatly. "Besides, the pack is back, and I wouldn't be surprised if they want Thorn and Draco. Pretty sure we'll have to move again," Luna growled.

swift looked at the ground with her ear's pinned back.
''i see.... well, sapphire chose her path........ i need to go stretch my leg's, if you want luna you can follow..'' she muttered calmly and walked past all of them.

Luna nodded, and stiffly rose to her paws. Venom bounded after her, so she picked him up by the scruff. She followed Swift.

swift curled up near the edge of a small pond and sighed.
''luna... one night i had a vision about sapphire..... she joined that awful pack and a fight broke lose between sapphire and her brother's...... the skydog's shown me the vision.. and i've dreaded it for a while, now it's come true.........'' she explained, tear's streaming down her face.

Venom wriggled out of Luna's tail, and trotted up to Swift. He rubbed his cheek against hers, wiping away the tears. She was so much taller than him, though, so it was pretty funny watching him try. "Its okay, Aunty Swift." He reassured. "Swift... Will you allow me to hurt Sapphire if necessary?" Luna asked, her head raised.

she smiled at the little pup and licked the top of his head.
''no luna.... i will only allow only me, buster, draco, or thorn to.... but if, and i mean 'if' need be... i will allow only you to hurt her..... i trust you a lot more then any other wolf i've met luna..'' she muttered.

Luna nodded. "As you wish." She said briskly. Venom cautiously padded back over to Luna and snuggled into her still ebony-black tail, giving a short yawn. Her blazing emerald-green gaze locked with her friend's. "While I can't severely hurt Sapphire even when necessary, you should know I won't hesitate to hurt the other aggravating wolves." Luna murmured solemnly. The tone in her voice was a sign that she meant it.

swift nodded.
''only if needed luna... and that's all the permission i'm giving you..... only to attack if needed'' she confirmed.
her gaze went to the pup next to luna and her eye's softened up, back to their calm and peaceful look.
''he's a cute pup luna.... though where did you find him..?'' she asked curiously.
