Silver found shade and picked her up, swimming back to the surface. they broke the surface and Silver crawled to the shore. noticing a trail of blood, he turned shad over and saw crabs attached to her flesh. gently prying them off, he flung them back to the lake and bade his way to the big house.

Aegis looked down, hearing the apology. her pupils dilated, and she held her head, her flight fluctuating. Flakes of energy began to trail off her until her dragon form was completely made out of dots of light, floating upwards as her body fell from the sky, unconscious.

Aegis remained unresponsive, her frail and tiny body seeming to have shrunken or shriveled due to lack of power. She was curled in a fetal position, unmoving and still, but still breathing.
