There should be this thing called a "bump" button. You can only click it if your post is on the second page. It would be right beside the post message, on the bottom of the page. Only the person who made the post can bump it. This would be so you would not have to post another message to bump the page up. The bump button would make the post go to the top. You would not be able to use it everyday, but it could be used every week. If you have any suggestions to this thing please post it!

that actually is a good idea, I support, but it would have to be a totally different color that the post button in case they click the wrong one

I think it should only appear if nobody has posted in your thread for a week. Only then would I support. Otherwise, we'd have a ton of users bumping their threads constantly just for being on the second page. It'd be a never-ending process.

I'm not sure how this is any different than someone writing "bump" as a post after a few days time. Granted it's a post but it does the same thing as a bump button: bring the thread up.

How is pushing a button after a week easier than writing "bump" after a couple days?

I'm neutral with this, because I think that writing 'Bump' is not difficult So it doesn't need a button but, maybe to write Bump you have to double post so it would be great to have this button in that case. I think I will support this as well for that reason.

Double posting is allowed if it is for a bump. You won't get banned if you bump, at the appropriate time of course, even if you were the last person to post.

Ok, in that case, I don't support this. Is not difficult to write Bump. You only want a button cause you are lazy XD

How is this necessary? As it was stated multiple times you can just write "Bump". Implementing a bump button would make the forum thread sort algorythm just unnecessary complex...
