The crow laughed again. Melody raised an eyebrow. "What are you?
Are you some kind of bird? Do birds usually wear clothes? Why are
you laughing? Is this a party? How are you hosting a party in the
middle of this place?" The crow laughed once more. "You ask too
many questions. Will you join us for tea, and we get you out?"
Kieran made a trilling sound - the closest he could get to laughter
- as he heard the torrent of questions, as he predicted. And tea
sounded like a good idea... better than being alone in the maze.
Kieran hadn't eaten for a while, and he was concerned that his
instincts would take over if he didn't eat soon.
"You have tea, we fly you out of here, no?" Melody shrugged. "No
strings attached?" "Only this. You must follow each of our
directions." Melody looked back. "No need to shout."
The cave slowly started to shiver from the toxic waste eating into
it “come on general. This labyrinth might be going down” he said,
glancing at the leaking ceiling
The crow waved a wing. "Sit down, sit down!" Melody stepped
forward. "Okay then."
The general shook his head. "The Labyrinth was built by the Earth
elemental. It's not coming down anytime soon, but it might just
destroy some of my men."
Melody rolled her eyes. "This is a lot weirder than you, though. No
offense, but right now I'm a little more worried about getting
out." The crow laughed, and said, "Now, take your cups. We'll pour
you a tea!"
The general laughed. "You think I care? The Zombie King will simply
send more." Still, he barked out, "Everyone, away from the
Labyrinth!" The zombies were starting to stumble away.
