Shai helpfully diverted the topic. "What's your view on catching pokemon and such? Being from Unova and all, surely you've heard of Team Plasma." They asked Aria.
Aria shrugged. "I think I would have made a pretty dedicated Plasma member, but I won't have been so loyal as to steal pokemon. I capture the pokemon that want to come with me so no one else does. Really, no one likes being forced into a tiny cage. Luxury balls remedy it to an extend, but the luxuries provided within is all... artificial. I'm not a fan of that, I'd rather let the pokemon stay outside. But if a pokemon does want to come along, I let them-how else would I have a team?" She responded, pretty softly but probably loud enough for everyone else to hear.
Shai nodded thoughtfully. "You'd get along well with N." N was the leader-in their words, the King-of Team Plasma. He had a good heart, but his father manipulated him and led the team down a criminal road.

Vex pauses. She thinks of back home, in the sunny region of Alola. Team Skull was much easier to deal with. More fun.

Meka and Devi seemed pretty bored of the conversations following, mostly because their own chosen were currently missing. Pebble was still milking affection off Shuichi, and Devi took the boredom as an excuse to take a nap, laying on the ground with a sigh. Meka shook her head at the Reshiram's decision to sleep it off, and instead started to listen in on the other chosen conversations.

Shuichi continued to give attention to all the pokemon around him. Heck, even Tsurugi came down to enjoy a little attention. It was very evident that Shuichi loved his pokemon and wanted to take care of them

Pebble and Meka leaped in sync to check out the cat pokemon. Meka wanting to mess with it, of course, and Pebble simply curious after Shuichi shifted his attention to it.
