Carter focused harder on the dream journal in his hands. Great. Now I got myself in another dream. How the heck did I even do that? What’s that technique called... He began to flick to the back of the book and squinted. He seemed undisturbed by the Solgaleo next to him, as if it was normal.

Meka, for one, hated waiting. She knew the other legends would come for them eventually, but she had this energy problem, needing to be moving constantly, as well as a burning curiosity that just needed to be fed. But she supposed the had no choice, so she transformed into eevee and started teasing Pebble.

He put a finger on his palm, “Not dreaming-” He counted his fingers under his breath, “Not dreaming,” he shut his eyes tightly for a moment and opened them sharply. “Not dreaming-“ He stared into the empty air in front of him with a focused look on his face. “Absolutely Not dre-“ He turned to the Solgaleo at his side. “Probably dreaming, right? Please say yes..” His heart was thumping as his Pokémon gave the boy a concerned look.
