"Hey, wait for me!" Alex yelled good-naturedly, and sprinted after
Silver. Small sparks began flying off of his paws in excitement (as
it did when he ran as fast as he could), but he didn't notice. He
finally stoped as they reached the base, panting. "Wow, you're real
fast now!" He wheezed and sat down in exhaustion. "I think I'm
gonna go sleep soon, after I drop off the money, unless theres
something else you wanted to do..."
"I wanted to properly introduce my sister! you probably didn't see
much of her personality on that quest, so I want you to meet her.
Though, warning, like a solar Eclipse, that cat is the opposite of
me." She landed beside Alex. "No worries, though. She'll be in the
fortress. Meet me there!" She then bounded toward the building and
darted inside, wings on full display.
Lyra was just waiting at the guild, when she realized something,
she didn't have any friends. She wondered if she could become
friends with any of the cats that she had met on the first day.
Alex or Miko, they were the cats she'd ventured with on her first
day here. It made her sad to know that she didn't have any friends,
she wanted them, one of the reasons she joined this guild was
because she didn't want to be lonely anymore. So she decided that
tomorrow she would try to say hi to Alex again since they haven't
talked in a few days. Then she went to sleep.
Alex looked at her, confused. Could her sister by Lyra, maybe? Alex
deposited the money to the guild (thank goodness luna had given him
the tour) and ran after Silver to the fortress. He wondered who it
could be... there was too much going on in his mind for him to
figure it out. Still tired after earlier, he sat down near silver.
"I'm here."
"Alrighty. This may come as a shock to you, but...Sis! Come over
here!" silver waved her wings toward the group of ninja's and
sneaks, where Miko was talking about her quest with Molotov, the
two constantly talking over each other, in whispers, of course.
Miko looked up at her sisters voice, as did all the sneaks, as they
were called (Headcannon). Miko stood up and walked from the crowd,
gasping. "Silver! You evolved while I was on the quest?!"
Alex began choking on nothing. "I'm sorry, WHAT? Miko is your
sister?" Alex asked Silver after his coughs of surprise. There was
no flipping way! They were like day and night. "You guys are so
different though!" Alex stated, confusedly. (and for good reason).
"Even your fur is different colours!"
Shadow appeared out of nowhere. Hey guys, I was just resting when I
heard all this commotion. I thought you knew that they were
related. After all, you’ve at least seen them together once.
“Oh, hi again Miko. I’ve made friends with Silver, so I guess you
can’t get rid of me again!“ Shadow said, in a playful tone.
Anyways, Conan said that maybe we would get along, so I want to get
to know you! Your sister already told me that your blood destroys
things right? Because that’s the opposite of her blood. What other
powers do you have?
Silver shrugged. "As you can tell, Miko got the demon side more
than I did." She chuckled a bit. Most cats were surprised to find
they were related, but she'd never thought that she'd get a
reaction this amusing. "It's easier to see now that we've both
evolved." She pointed her fluffy tail to Miko's wings and
daggers.
Miko was giving the opposite response. Glaring at him. So, they
were sisters, so they were different. Her sister was nice, and she
was...less nice. It must be a shock to Alex to find Miko was half
angel and Silver was half demon, but that was how it was, and so
Silver was one of the few cats outside the Sneaks that she got
along with, being littermates.
Alex sighed. Shadow was obviously not great in social situations.
Someone had probably told him about Mikos personality... and the
way he talked just made the situation feel really awkward. Also, he
was wrong. He hadn't seen the two of them together. Alex placed a
paw on his head. Maybe Shadow and Miko were both sneaky, but with
that attitude, he seriously doubted they would get along. He was
gonna have to help Shadow out.
Alex also noticed Mikos wings. He knew now that Miko hated
sappyness or cheezyness, so he dipped his head repectfully.
"Congratulations on the evolution!" Alex said calmly, drawing no
more attention than necesarry and sounding as genuine as he could
muster.
Miko turned back to her sneaks. "See ya then. I wanna go to sleep
now." She then walked through the fortress, curling beside Snooze
and falling asleep. Silver had wanted to introduce her to Alex, but
she wasn't in the mood for meet and greets with people she barely
knew. Soon, she was snoring away, the other sneaks still casting
glances at Silver and Alex.
Silver sighed, shaking her head. "So much for that. Maybe
tomorrow?" She yawned, noticing how tired she was. "Well, good
night guys." She header to her bed, padding nimbly around the other
cats.
Shadow shrugged Alex’s paw off. Why was he acting like Shadow knew
nothing? Well, he may not have been the best when trying to have a
conversation. It came much more naturally during battle, which may
seem weird.
Thanks for the consideration, Alex. I got to go to sleep now too. I
want to get a good nights sleep and get ready for tomorrow!
"Night! Sleep tight! Don't let the dragons bite!" Alex joked.
Again, he had had an amazing day today. He headed back to his bed
alone, but he didn't mind, because he didn't feel lonely anymore.
next to his bed, he saw 400 gold. It was probably the money Lyra
promised. Alex was glas that she had followed through, but he
wasn't in need of it any more. He would pay her back tommorow
morning. Happy and content, he circled his cozy, olive green
beanbag bed, then flopped down onto it (still the best thing he'd
ever slept on). He began purring, and quickly fell into a peaceful
slumber.
In the morning, Lyra stretched herself awake, today she was gonna
see if Alex wanted to go on a quest with her, since they both met
on their first day here. She new that at that point she was a
little annoying, but now she shared most of his thought. By now she
thought that dragons were horrible, and that hatred wasn't that
bad. She wondered if he was awake yet, so she started to make her
way over to his den.
Back at his room, Shadow lay down on his beanbag. He was thinking
about everything he did today. He joined the guild, made friends
with Silver and Alex, defeated a dragon, and got a ton of gold in
the process. He experienced a lot of abilities, and even a
evolution! He met Miko (although that didn’t turn out too well,
he’d try again tomorrow), and defeated an enormous dragon. What a
day, he thought, as he drifted off to sleep.
Alex began stretching. Still nit believing that he had gone from
street cat to guild member, he counted his money out of boredom,
and made a long chain out of the coins, shocking them to see how
strong his electricity was (it was pretty fun). Including the 400
that lyra had given (mental note to return them), his chain of 1000
coins was super long, and he swelled with pride when his
electricity managed to reach the end of the chain. He was getting
stronger!
After waking up, and going through his usual routines, including
counting his current stash of 800 coins, he decided to go visit
Alex. On the way, he bumped into the first cat he met, Lyra, who
seemed to also be going to Alex’s room for a quest.
Shadow wondered what Lyra would be like. She seemed very kind and
happy. Also, she was by the quest board, and Shadow was pumped from
last night, and wanted to go on another quest!
“Hi, I’m Shadow, from two nights ago”, he said. “You look like you
want to go questing, can I join?”
Alex continued playing with electricity (dont do this at home,
kids) and his coins, aranging them in cool shapes and patterns,
then shooting electricity through them.
Silver walked out of the fortress the next morning, and lay out in
the sun, blinking lazily. Maybe Miko would finally agree to quest
with her now that she'd evolved. Or was she not sneaky enough? Was
it her white fur? She could roll in mud, maybe...but that might
hinder her flight....
Miko woke up even before the other Sneaks. Walking outside, she
took the harvest like normal and went to the Cauldron, wondering if
Kyle could help her with this. She wanted to upgrade her weapon.
That, combined with the sharpener she'd discovered as her gift,
would make her a touch opponent, and she wanted to be prepared for
the dragons. she peered into the alchemy cauldron, watching the
boiling potion and hearing the bloop bloop of the rising and
popping bubbles.
