There were loud squawks in the distance, followed by the beating of wings coming closer. "Brace yourselves!" Jade roared as her muscles tensed. They'd been noticed.

Copper tensed and flew into the air. She launched herself at one of the approaching Griffins to knock it towards the ground. She knew that it was a reckless move but did it nonetheless.

*B charge up his body with electricity ready to release it at any moment at the griffins* Come at me! *He said shouting and roaring trying to attract them so they could be easier to take down* If you disable their wings they are easy prey! *he said informing the others thanks to the book he read about them*

Aaron improvises, continuing the fight. Clearly, the griffin is stronger and larger than him, so he's going to have to be creative. Seeing 2 trees close together nearby, he flies towards them, hoping his crazy idea would work. The griffin chases after him, as aaron tries to stay calm. He tries to block the trees from the griffin's view, and he flaps down just as they reach them, sliding through the gap. The griffin's wide spread wings get blocked by the trees, as it spirals down, letting out a squack of surprise. Unfortunately, Aaron was overly focused on the Griffin, that he wasn't paying attention to his flight, and tumbles onto the ground.
Although he is bruised, cut and scraped from the fight, Aaron can't believe how lucky he got with those two moves. Maybe he should try fighting with tactics and tricks rather than force...

Aaron! *Seeing a couple griffins approaching him he flies toward him and releases his burst of electricity from his mouth as if were fire aiming toward the griffins wings to weaken them. He ome of them falling down to the ground as the other scatter*

Copper tackled a griffin and clawed at his, then used her firebreath. The griffin clawed at her with its talons, leaving scratches on her side. She spreads her wings and flies into the air before diving back down at the griffin, attempting to confuse it.

Jade rushed forward and shoved her shoulder into a griffin's neck. The creature was midnight black and was kind of like a huge shadow in her speeding view, her forward rush had stunned it, and she ducked behind its wing to whack it on the side with her tail, only to feel rough talons grasp her shoulders as another Griffin grabbed her and dragged her away, screeching. She began thrashing wildly, letting out a roar.

Aaron looks back at the griffin he fought. It might not be dead, but at the very least, its knocked out.
Aaron see's Jade struggling with her griffin. He won't be able to reach her in time, but he lets out another screech of "STOP!" in griffin (still incredibly glad he picked up that book). Maybe it might stip for a moment, like the griffin he fouught did?

Copper heard Jade's roar and stopped attacking the griffin she had been attacking. She flew at the griffin that had Jade and aimed for its neck, her claws outstretched.

*B gets scratch by a Griffin in the back he let's out a painful roar as he tries to get him off his back. He slams his back into a tree making the Griffin let go of him and fly off wounded* There to many of them! *he shouted angrily in pain as he had enough of these griffins*

The griffin, a reddish brown skinny beast, loosened its grip on Jade as it attempted to fend of Copper, allowing Jade to slip free. She shot a blast of fire at the black griffin, but more were arriving, they were outnumbered.

"We need to get out of here!" Copper roared, grappling with the reddish-brown griffin. She wanted to buy time for everyone else if they were going to flee.

Aaron flies close to the horde of Griffins, but doesn't enter or grapple. Intead, he screeches "STOP" in griffin again, and singes a few with blue fire, trying to get their attention.

"There's no way we can get out!" Jade roared. "If I open a rift, the griffins could follow us!" This had been a stupid idea, but for some reason she knew she couldn't leave yet.

The Griffins didn't listen, they just charged closer to Cobalt, but a red flash blocked their path to the dragon.

You guys get out here I'll handle it on my own! *since there members there lifes matter more than his own life, again he charge up his body with electricity but this time he move super fast clawing the griffins one by one trying to get their attention* Over here! *trying to get the griffins attention to attack even do he was at his limit to breaking down*

Aaron isn't the strongest of the biggest dragon, but he isn't going to give up. Maybe I can pull off one more trick, he thinks, as he breathes another cobalt plume of flames, and opens a portal to... somewhere thats not here. He's hoping his horrible sense of direction when it comes to portals can come in handy. Using all of his strength, he lunges and shoves the nearest griffin into the portal. It's eyes widen in surprise as it dissapears, and Aaron quickly closes the portal.

Copper was able to knock the griffin away. She was panting heavily but kept fighting to help her fellow dragons.

The griffins that had been held back by the flash charged again, but there were a few in the back that were screeching with pain. Jade was panting, her ears pricked. The attacks on her had stopped, and more griffins were fleeing now.
