Aurelia’s assault eventually proved too much for Luneth as he fell
on one knee. However he maintained his defensive stance with orbs
of air surrounding him as well as a barrage of arrows also made
from air.
Aurelia knocked a few away but she took two more arrows to her
wings. She bent them one last time, and gave him a roundhouse kick
into his chest. Everything hurt; several must have imbedded in her
primaries
The air orbs around Luneth exploded. However Luneth took the full
hit and fell to the ground. He didn’t have the strength to get back
up this time and lay down defeated
(Alright, I figured out how to actually fit in the issue that Eden
can't participate)
"Hey, this is a pretty interesting fight you know," Sol commented
watching Luneth and Aurelia holding out against one another. His
ear twitched as a page turned and Eden responded with a quiet
'mhmm'. The Ninetales eyed her, "You're not even watching. Luneth
and Aurelia are pretty good fighters."
Eden jumped, "Wait? What?" She looked over then stayed quiet for a
little.
They stood silent until, "Sol?...Please tell me that you thought
this was a Pokemon tournament."
"Well, I saw Furret enter," Sol would pause before continuing,
"Then again... He's not the brightest Litwick around." Idiot! Looks like I'll need to actually drop out. He knows that
I'm incapable of self-defense, Eden grumbled a bit as she
walked off to find Adele.
(Eden will talk to her once the match is considered over, I guess)
Adele chilled while doing some cardio, mostly to prepare herself
for the tornument. Phantump was there, coaching her, along with the
Feebas, who was in a bucket.
Sol had walked ahead of Eden, trying to find Adele. He would walk
past an area then notice Phantump with a Feebas. He eyed the fish
in the bucket, "...Is he food or something? I can roast him."
Eden followed after, her voice muffled as she scolded the Ninetales
beneath her mask, "Sol. Don't say stuff like that. You'll end up
being attacked someday if you keep saying those type of things."
She would rub her head a little as if trying to treat a headache
from the recent annoyance that Sol had brought up. It wouldn't be
noticeable, but she was pretty angry with him right now. After
taking a deep breath, Eden would look to Adele as she trained.
"...Have I interrupted anything?"
"Yeah," Eden started, "The thing is... I was wondering if... I
could just take the automatic loss and let Chantilily win by
default?" Her voice trailed a bit near the end, feeling a little
embarrassed she had to ask if she could just lose the tournament
immediately.
She nodded, "The thing is... I'm actually incapable of fighting."
Eden explained a bit, her mask hiding her blush as she admitted
defeated. "My friend there actually chose to sign me up without my
knowledge and convinced me it was a match meant for the Pokemon..."
Eden mumbled a bit before being interrupted by her friend.
"I saw Furret enter! That's why I jumped to that conclusion," Sol
retorted out of fear and shock. "I didn't know that it was going to
be a fight between the humans and their abilities. It was honestly
a slight mistake."
Eden looked to Sol then Adele, "So that was the problem. My ability
is only suited for supportive cases, not fighting."
Eden would jolt a little as Adele made her decision. She wanted to
argue, but sighed. Announcing it would be embarassing, but it's
obviously the best choice. "...Alright, thanks for your
understanding," she left to where she started spectated the
tournament.
Over the speaker, Adele announced to the audience. "Due to the
desicisions of the party, Eden as forfieted the tornument. That
means the other is the automatic winner."
"That's unfortunate for both you and Luthen. I really wanted to
fight," Sol commented with a frown. Eden shot a glare at the canine
then walked off with a slight grumble. She would return to House 4
for the time being.
The Ninetales watched her walk off, "...Too soon?"
Luneth got up, extremely worn out from the fight. Despite his loss,
he gave a bright smile to Aurelia. “You were really good. Good luck
in the rest of the tournament!” He turned around and walked out of
the arena, towards the spectators area.
Furret would bounce over to the area. wanting to go next.
Persephone would face palm mentally, as she took a sip from her
water bottle. Eloise would sit and watch the battles next to
Persephone and Tempest.
