The Rainbow Sprite is and has been very puzzling to me. I hear you can only get it at a specific time but even then it is random. This ordinarily wouldn't be a problem maybe if I were able to be up 24 hrs or just flipflop my sleep schedule as I please like some users, though I am not under those categories. Now what my suggestion is that we stop making this random encounter time specific. What I mean is we all live in a variety of different time zones and these kind of things may make the site more advantageous to those who simply wake up in one particular time zone. I want to make the Harvest sprite as well as any other time specific pokemon that may be on the site with randomness involved just random not time constrained. It should more likely be just random encounter is the entire idea here I already hear a few people shouting "But that would make it too easy" and my response is does it really sound easy to catch something that randomly pops up at any time. I think it sounds still difficult enough with just that. Making is specific to a certain few minutes or hour makes it near impossible to some of us.

As far as I'm aware, the rainbow sprite is indeed only available at a specific time window but it isn't random during that time and that time window is both the AM and PM server time.

So it should be perfectly available regardless of timezone. At least when it comes to sleeping, everyone's got their selection of work and whatever responsibilities that might keep them occupied, but finding the time to pop into PH for a minute during the time window on one day isn't a mission impossible.

Besides, making everything random is boring as heck. Having a different event mon like this is a nifty and fun addition if you ask me.

@Finhawk You obviously have been doing something I haven't. I have jumped through multiple potential windows looking for it. I have collected all of them I just haven't seen a glimpse of this mysterious sprite.

yeah im quite sure its available at a specific time and not random, not sure about the AM and PM though
