A Dangerous Rebellion
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → A Dangerous RebellionOctavius followed Jason, bowl in hand. He looked over at Cassie. He should tell her he was sorry. "Cassie? I'm sorry...and glad you're okay."
Jason nodded. "We'll be all good, meet you at the house!" He waited until Octavius' attention was on the bowl before he ladled in as much as he wanted.
Jason glanced to Max happy that the two were getting along. Perhaps if he could convince his cousin they could all go camping and or boating together.
Max smiled patting Octavius' back. "You'll get there, wherever you want to be at. Trust me. Jason is a good guy. He'll help you." Offering his arm to Cassie, Max took a deep breath. Things would be okay. He'd make it so.
"I most definitely will help you as much as I can." Jason said filling his bowl.
Octavius smiled, feeling better. "Thank you."
"It's my pleasure," Jason grinned. "Eat up and I'll show you the house."
Octavius nodded, sitting back down before eating. He was stuffed by the time he finished.
Jason waited patiently helping with the dishes.
Vera smiled, shaking her head. "I can get those, Jason. You and Octavius go explore."
"But you made dinner. I want to help," Octavius murmured, not about to back down.
"Vera," Jason said after hearing the tone in Octavius' voice. "In this I don't think you have a choice..." Since he had his hands on the dishes, and Octavius was determined to help, he figured that they had a pretty good chance of winning this fight.
Vera threw up her hands with a sigh. "Outnumbered," she said with a smile. "I'll get them next time."
Octavius cracked a smile and shook his head. Let her think that. If he was around, he was getting it.
Jason chuckled and made room at the sink for Octavius. "That is if we don't get them next time,"
Jason laughed and nudged him back. "I'm glad you're on my side."
"Oh, sure, gang up on the beautiful woman in the room, why don't you," Vera teased, grinning at them fondly. "But then, who wouldn't take Jason's side? I can't blame you, Octavius. He is a fine specimen."
Octavius went beat red at that, he knew what she could be implying. She hadn't meant it like that, he was sure but that didn't stop his cheeks from flaming.
Jason turned and posed with a hand behind his head and the other on his hip. "Just fine? Oh sweet lady, I'm the specimen," He lost it and burst into laughter, though he did notice Octavius' blush, but didn't want to draw attention to it right now. He'd ask about it later.
Octavius lost his blush as he watched Jason. He couldn't help but laugh as well.
Jason chuckled and grinned hearing Octavius laugh. "That is a wonderful sound there, I hope you'll make that sound and smile a lot more now," He turned and got back to finish the dishes.
