I chose mine by... Well It started out as a wip of a rp character and I kind of kept going back to it time and time again with the zorua with a split eye colour...
And I am still sorta obsessed with this little fella.
I especially fell in love with the ability he had in the anime disguising himself as other pikemon and so on...
If u want we can palpad about it more xD But no need to pay x3 I hate to be paid to help others out..

i usually pick pokemon that are signifigant to me--for example, i have a deerling character, because ever since i was a little kid just starting out playing pokemon, i LOVED deerling and sawsbuck. a purrloin one for the same reason. another reason could be i just really love it's design--that's why i have my pumpkaboo and eevee characters.

My pokesona is a Giratina and I got that kinda from the games I've always loved Giratina and I loved battling with it! I have to agree with salt a bit what's your favorite pokemon and why mine was vulpix and Giratina and I asked myself why. I didn't have that much experience with vulpix and i didn't really like it that mush so I choose my little Giratina :3
And we got called them all
So we grew up believing no one
Would ever fall in love with us
That we'd be lonely forever
That we'd never meet someone
To make us feel like the sun
Was something they built for us
In their tool shed
So broken heart strings bled the blues
As we tried to empty ourselves

As someone will more ocs than it's healthy to have, it depends on what you WANT in a pokesona. If you want them to have a certain goal, personality, aspect, etc try to pick a pokemon that reflects that. Don't be scared to use a under or over used pokemon. It's your oc, so screw the haters !~

I chose Purrloin because it can pick up and carry things, which my favorite (Ninetales) can't. Otherwise I would have chose Ninetales for sure.
I love how cute and pretty Purrloin is. Although she's my sona, I didn't accessorize her to look like me. I don't really have anything that I could use honestly. Purrloin is just easy to show character in. When I'm sad, playful, mean, angry, sassy, I can bring it all out with her. So her appearance isn't me, but personality is.

Well, Furret became my favorite Pokemon after I took a "What Pokemon are you" quiz, and obviously, got Furret. After that I found out that Furret actually fits me pretty well, so I wanted a Furret Pokesona.
The Ho-Oh half of my Pokesona is present due to some rather odd dreams I had at one point it time, so Ho-Oh also became a favorite Pokemon of mine, and I just basically had mashed Ho-Oh and Furret together.
On a sort of related side note, my whole Pokeheroes like everything is Ho-Oh and Furret related.
My signature has Furret, my name is Furret, the permanent Pokemon in my party are Ho-Oh and Furret, my Premium banner is Ho-Oh, and my avatar and about me are almost always that of my Pokesona or Furret.

My biggest problem is that I'll love a certain Pokemon for a few months before I get a bit tired of it and then switch over to a new Pokemon. The only Pokemon I've really stuck with over the past few years and still like as much is Zoroark, yet I've had 3 Zoroark sonas in the past and I just get sick of drawing it so much.
Like I want to have one that's a Pokemon I like but will also be able to continue enjoying drawing over a long period of time? Idk.
Like right now I really like Type: Null/Silvally and Alolan Sandslash but I don't know if I could stick to one of these Pokemon if I made a sona out of one of them.
Based on Furret's post, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try another fusion of two Pokemon I like a lot. My last sona was a Zoroark/Sylveon who I stuck to for about a year and a half, so I might try something else like that. .w.

meh, whatever, still a dragon to me XD
i also may keep me a gengar pokesona
i dunno
somehow spooky things suit me
and gengar can have some GREAT teeth

Full body art usually doesn't look good and I'm use to only doing Purrloin headshots. I need this I guess.
Does anyone have Purrloin OCs in case I don't feel like doing my own later?
