May God Have Mercy (Open and Accepting)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → May God Have Mercy (Open and Accepting)Turning my gaze back to Karl, I raised a delicate eyebrow and flick my bladed fans back out. "Well, I don't know about everyone else but if Sally is anything to go by, I think you should be counting your lucky stars whatever your talking about brought woman. We're quite deadly when we choose to be. I am Serena, by the way. And I'd say I'm pretty lethal when I want to be. Sally, do you want me to take his other side? I think you're rifle outweighs my blades in practicality at the moment. I think we'd rather not have to get too up close and personal with the lovely people out walking," I said, motioning to the obvious people staggering about. I tried not to notice the fact that they were missing limbs and covered in blood. I could happily freak out about that later. It wasn't going to do any good freaking out about it now. Only serve as a distraction. And I already have enough of those, thank you, I thought to myself, gaze slipping back to Selinia for a moment.
In one swift motion, Sally swung her rifle off her shoulder, ending the movement with the barrel pointed squarely between the mans eyes. She shouted at him, probably to drop his weapon, as Selinia snatched the pistol off the ground. She looked over it's shiny silver surface. It wasn't an old time Webley revolver, a powerful gun for sure, though certainly not a fast one. Flicking the chambers open, she found that it was totally empty. Had this guy really tried to attack them with a gun with no ammo? She heard the man ask how he has gotten here, and sighed with relief. He was in the same boat as them. Karl sighed, pointing off down the street. She still pocketed the pistol. "I'm not going to stand here in the open and explain again." Selinia nodded, not wanting to be caught in a horde of zombies. She helped Karl begin limping in the direction he had pointed. "If you don't want to get eaten, follow me." Sally gave the man on the ground one last glare, before turning to follow them.

(I apologize for the briefness of this post. An all day tournament will certainly take it out of a body...)
(@Charizard Don't worry about the length. Your post was plenty long. @Everyone Just in case you were wondering, you are not stronger than these zombies. You will almost never be in a situation where you can mow down a horde by yourself. That means you to Starlord XD. The soldiers may shuffle along, but they can move pretty fast when trying to grab you. Yes you can kill them, but if you aren't careful, you WILL be overwhelmed. So no stress m'k? >:-D)
Kai frowned when Sally said that. He disliked her the moment she pointed the rifle at him. Obviously, their vocabulary wasn't with his, so he accepted it. "Oh good, so no infection. Well, I think I watched to much Walking dead, then," ai laughed to himself. When the skeletons (I think thats what they are, so correct me If I'm wrong) came to view, he almost shat bricks. He didn't though. "Oh sh*t, Oh SH*T!!!" Kai shouted. Kai, while looking at the horde, noticed a dropped shotgun, and a few shells for it not so far from them and a pretty good distance away from the things. Kai ran to it, picked it up, collected the shells, stuffing them into his pockets. He pulled out the grenade out of his pocket and threw it as hard as he could at the horde. Kai ran back and picked up Karls legs and began helping carry him. "So which way?" Kai asked frantically. The grenade blew up and took a few of the things down with it.

That guy who'd insulted us was shouting. He'd thrown something that glinted dimly in the gaslights. Then his shouts were drowned out by a deafening explosion. A few seconds later, pain exploded through my left arm and I screamed in pain. Stopping, I looked at my arm to see shrapnel from who knows where all around me. A long, wicked looking piece of metal stuck out of my upper left arm. Struck dumb, I stared at it. Where the hell had it come from?! Blood gushed down my arm from around it. I knew better then to just pull it out. It could have hit an artery! It could be the only thing keeping me from bleeding out on the street. Carefully, I put my other hand to it, applying pressure. The scratching sound kept coming closer and I looked up to see some of the zombies still making their way towards us. Fast. Terror ran over me like an ice cold shower and I started running again. I was too dumbstruck to say anything about my latest piercing. I tried to careful to keep my hand from slipping and cutting myself further.
Whatever he'd thrown had been explosive. Hadn't he said there were people in that direction? Did he just not care if they were caught up in the explosion or the aftermath? Well, I knew one girl he was about to care very deeply about. He was going to be very concerned with me and where I wielded my blades. He'd be lucky I even thought before I reacted. Fear and pain pushed me faster and soon I was level with Selinia and the others. A sharp hiss escaped my lips as one of my fingers slipped in the blood and struck the metal sticking through my arm.
