Nodding, Khaalida understood exactly what he meant. She stopped pacing and turned to him with a look of concern. "How often did you report in?" If he isn't a good little soldier then we might have time to put a fair amount of distance between us and the King... But if he reported every day... Well then... We're in for some trouble...

Draco grabbed his sword and cut through the rubble. Draco didn't see Khaalida and Riku anywhere "They escaped!"

Riku's eyes narrowed. "Usually I would kill them but yeah, we have to get distance between the humans and other vampires..." He gestures Khaalida to follow him.
