Other: The rustling of the bushes gave away little about the Kit
hiding there. Her heart was beating loudly against her chest as she
carefully made her way to find another living soul. How long she
had walked was a mystery to her because she could not read the
stars or the position of the sun. Her ribs were almost see through
due to the endless days of wandering. Where was everyone? Her green
eyes scanned the area as she waited for a safe time to come out.
The only tell tale sign she was still fighting to live were the
scattered remains of small rodents. She didn't realize she was on
someone else's turf. She waited as her breathing regulated itself
and poked her head out. "Hello? Is anyone out there?" She mewled as
she looked around.
(I am here O Meme Mama.)

Streampaw mimicked what Whiteleap was doing. Her ears perked up
listening for any noise as well as her eyes scanning the terrain
looking for any movement.
"I don't trust you already," Oakshade replied. "I scented a cat
earlier too, who I'm sure was you."
While Oakshade doubted the she-cat, Bird had started to approach
Mint until she heard Oakshade, retreating back towards him.
Whiteleap flicked his tail to signal Streampaw to a water vole
picking around by the stream ahead, near some bushes. "There. Get
to pouncing distance, and push off with your hind legs to spring at
it."
She nodded slightly and moved forward. She continued until she was
at a good distance to try to pounce on it. Streampaw moved her back
legs back a little bit and leaped at the vole outstretching her
claws.
Flintstar stopped when she scented Foxstep. Finally! She
started to follow the scent.
Snowflank gave a flick of the ear. "I do not hate Shadedfur." She
looked into the queens eyes. "I may not agree with what she did
during the ceremony, but she is a good cat."
(Sorry, had to deal with some silly suitcase cats of mine)
Fernwing grinned as she snuck up behind Whiteleap. She was hidden
in the reeds, which rustled gently in the breeze to hide the sound
of her movement. She crouched down as she neared Whiteleap, before
launching herself onto her friend's back. "HAHA! REVENGENCE HAS
BEEN SERVED!" She yelled as she landed on Whiteleap's back, pushing
him under the surface. She soon lost her balance, however, and
tumbled into the stream next to her victim of surprise. She let out
a large burst of laughter, bopping Whiteleap on the nose as he
surfaced. "Now that," Fern said, turning to Streampaw, "Is how you
sneak."
Whiteleap licks Streampaw's nose. "Good job! Next time get a bit
closer so the kill is neater." He purred. "If you'd like, we could
take this back to Flintstar now, shes been having a rough day."
Whiteleap yelps as he's landed on, and he forces upwards to fling
fernwing off with his favorite battle move. He made sure he didn't
do it too roughly so he didn't hurt her. "Nice try~" he snorts.
I'll take them back to camp through the path where the
strawberries are. I promise Flintstar, Snowflank, I'll bring you
back a nice gift.
Foxstep touched her leader softly. "No you didn't. You chose a
wonderful deputy. Whiteleap has the patience and loyalty that is
needed for a good leader. If you chose Shadedfur... Well... She
ripped out a badger's throat...I feel sorry for the poor badger..."
