actually the rule should state "drama and angst allowed, but not to
be OVERDONE."
"I reserve the right to call you out on that."
On the majority of my feral front RPs, I have a rule here:
"Swearing, violence, death, drama, and angst are allowed but not to
be overdone. I reserve the right to call you out on it." (FF allows
swearing and stuffz)]
Streampaw stumbled a bit when the water hit her. She shook out her
fur a bit and flattened her ears. Glaring at Whiteleap as she
playfully swatted some water at him.
Fogsong looked and sniffed around, and padded over to Whiteleap.
"That would be a good idea." Fogsong began being able to scent said
water voles. "So. Does Streampaw know how to catch them?"
Whiteleap dodged the water and laughed. "No Fogsong she doesn't.
This is her first lesson~" He puffs out his chest proudly, heading
over to Streampaw. "Show me your hunter's crouch, so you can get
started."

when them whitesnow kits coming in
and j fc my mom did the same thing, i just hide my 3ds whenever she
comes out
In her haste the queen stumbled, tumbling to the forest floor with
an 'oof!' She forced herself back up onto her paws and took a
breath. She needed to stay calm for the lives growing inside her.
"Snowflank... why are you helping me find her? Don't you hate her
like every other cat?"
"Uuhhhh..." She looked at Whiteleap then at her paws. She crouched
down her the fur on her bell brushing the ground. She smoothed out
her tail keeping it low to the ground as well. It was an okay
stance, but her paws were in an awkward position that would be
uncomfortable to hunt in that pose.
"Is this good," she asked her gaze shooting up to her mentor.
"Anyway, what's your name?" Bird finally inquired. "I told you
mine, you should tell me yours."
"My name is Oakshade," the tom replied.
"Oakshade? Why not just Oak?" Bird asked.
"It's just how our names are in the clan," Oakshade replied. "Kits
have kit at the end, apprentices have paw at the end, and warriors
vary. Oh, cant forget leaders, who end with star." The she-cat's
face dissolved into a look of complete and utter confusion,
obviously having no idea what half of what he said meant.
"Apprentices are warriors in training and warriors provide food and
protection to the clan."
"Oh, but wouldn't it be easier just to find some housefolk and not
worry about all that stuff?"
//Omg sylvia Oakshade explained that exactly how copper explained
it to oak in our rp pffFF
also im not responding to our 1v1 because fruitclan is flying
faster than i can keep up with//
Whiteleap circles her a few times before nudging her paws in place.
"Everything was good, but with that paw placement you had it would
have been a bit hard to stalk your prey comfortably"
(he did? i didnt even realize it thats my default explanation)
Oakshade heard the leaves before he answered Bird, looking up. I
knew I scented a cat! he thought. But who are they, and are
they listening to us? He stood up in alarm, startling Bird.
"What is it?" she asked.
Streampaw nodded her head as a thank you to Whiteleap. She noted
the new placement of her paws and twitched her whiskers. She looked
at her mentor wondering what to do next.
Whiteleap pauses before sniffing the air. He gets down in his own
hunter crouch. "Now you learn to crawl. carefully place your paws
so you dont make too much noise and keep your tail off the ground,
but not too high. The prey might see you." He demonstrates by
pulling himself forwards in the traditional stalking form.
Mint hissed and silently tried to sneak away, clumsily slipping on
a branch. She let out a screech as she fell down from the tree
right in front of the cats.
