Thanks for this valuable guide, I was going crazy to find some types of gems, and thanks to this guide I was able to get some more easily, although the dragon gems are still difficult in all aspects.

Does the level of your rumble area determine how many gems you get or is it random?

@daidai7337: Yes, you do get more gems/items based on the level of the map and the rarest gems you can find in any map are Fairy, Dragon and Bug gems (except on legendary, evolution and special event maps).

You cannot find Fairy, Dragon, and Bug gems in regular rumble areas. You can only find them in Galar.

Does the pokemon you send to a given zone matter? Does a bug type find better stuff/level up the forest more so then a fire type? Does the Pokemon's level/stats matter?

@oxGrEeKxo: No, the only maps that type matters for is for the summon maps (like Sky Piller, Terra Cave, etc) and they’re based on the legendary that you have to battle for their summon item (Ruby, Sapphire, etc). Also idk about the regular rumble maps, but for facing legendaries, would recommend to bring a high level mon for them

Yes, you can get every type of gem in the Galar region(? Correct me if i'm wrong with this, though.). You can get rumble maps in any mystery box, it all depends on your luck. I'd say the dragon gem is the hardest gem to find, considering its prices?
