A Frosty Creature
Forum-Index → News → A Frosty CreatureMay I just say that repeatedly complaining about things and arguing about it, is what makes these things go away forever. A lot of work has gone into organizing this, and the more people complain about how it sucks, or it's too hard, or blahblahblah, the more likely it is that Riako and such will decide 'Well, they don't appreciate it, all they do is complain about it, so we're just not gonna do it anymore'. :/
They don't HAVE to do these things, they're things for us that are supposed to be fun, like treats or presents. And unfortunately the ones who don't enjoy these things, are a lot more vocal than the ones who do.
Yes, it is frustrating to hear that people get it after like 2 clicks. But maybe next time, those people either won't get it at all, or they'll have to click like 50000 times before they get it! D:
Or maybe, someone will click 25000 times for their first one, then get their second 30 clicks later. It all evens out eventually right? :D
I don't mind reading a complaint once every now and then, but if all you're gonna do is repeatedly update us on how much you've clicked and how it's so unfair and obviously it's been rigged, I would like to ask you to take it to your PM's or your feed. Cause I know it's annoying for me to read the same thing over and over, I can't imagine how it makes Riako and the mods feel.
So I agree with both Tina and Diana here, a few complaints can very often fix things. But when it's the same complaint, that most people don't agree with, it starts to get frustrating. I hope everyone understands what I'm trying to say here! :)

It is quite a hard one to get! My wrist nearly fell off before I got mine! But then I had a massive happy dance and it was all good! :D

This site is still fairly new, so there's still chance for improvement.
it's best to keep clicking and trying to get kyurem instead of wasting precious time complaining about it when this event is intended to run all winter and that is an extremely long time to be clicking for this event
it is a legendary after all, you don't go into a pokemon game expecting to catch your legendaries without all the work to get there, do you? (i don't, i go into the battle with a max load of different pokeball types, the ds plugged into the charger, a bowl of snacks and a whole lot of time on my hands)
personally, i think the overwhelming amount of negativity so early in the event is really unwarranted and i understand that it can be frustrating, but good things come to those who
edit: I just realised my post sounds really ungrateful. Sorry about that. I'm ridiculously happy and slightly surprised by my luck.
Theres no limit to how many times it visits you. I know some people who already have 5 Kyurems.
If you leave it on the userbar, it will stay there until you accept its gift.

(ninja'd by Toothlesss :D But I wanted to extend your answer)
Also thanks for everyone's opinion :) I totally understand that it may be frustrating sometimes - but I'm convinced that everyone, who tries to make 100-200 interactions per day, will get at least one Kyurem ;)
This was meant to be something fun - And it is fun! I didn't get kyurem just yet - Will I go around saying: "Made another 2000 interactions still no kyurem for me D:" every few minutes? No. Instead I will just click so more. It's no biggie. It's irritating I know - Especially if you have crappy old pc - but if you are patient you will get it eventaully - and even if I somehow don't get kyurem by the end of the winter I am fine with it because it's fun to interact with other and the reward for that is just awesome.
Do you get everything you want right away in real life? For instance (Crappy example I know but it's an example)
You are hungry and you are home alone so there is nobody to make you food - you cannot just say: "I want food and I want it now!!" you have to make yourself something to eat and that takes time -but after you are done with it it makes you feel great because you are not hungry anymore. If you would keep complaining that you are hungry and that you didn't get any food when you wanted it you would still feel hungry and while you were complaining you could already get yourself something to eat - it's simple as that.
Try to think about admins and mods for once.. Do you think that they feel happy and encouraged when all they see are complaints and negativity? That would make me feel bad and I would think that since nobody likes the event I won't make another one because people are going to complain again.
So I am going to be positive and I am going to say this for the end: "Thanks Riako and thanks to all the mods - you are making awesome job keeping this site as fun as it is - maybe some of us didn't get the reward just yet but I am really happy to be on here either way. It was thanks to so many interactions lately that I filled up my dex really fast and that I met so many new friends! So thankyou again and keep up the awesome job ^^ (And ignore those negative grumpy people they shouldn't ruin this for everyone) =)
