Well, I support
@Above: I'd say, that may be true, but it seems MUCH easier that it's nearly unfair to the non-premium users who would prefer to keep their own money/ can't afford to buy it, but it isn't like it will make it much easier.

Again, it isn't meant to be easy. If people can't/won't pay for the benefits of premium why should they get them? I know this sounds biased because I know, I know, I'm premium, but this seems like a "why not make this game a bit easier" suggestion not "why not make this game better" suggestion.

Things have worked fine so far, why try and change it if it's just to make things easier and not better? I know it's easy to confuse and mix the two but still, not everyone can get the best benefits, there'd be little point to having premium after awhile because what's next? Make it a little but easier to get more EHP per click? Make it a little bit easier to see eggs in lab after awhile? Make it a little bit easier to do everything?

We have to draw a line between making things better for the site and making this easy. Yes, it might seem much easier for premiums, but it's not easy to get premium. If it was everyone would have it. It'd be unfair to me who works hard for her money to see non-premium users getting things easier.

It's a matter of what's best for the site, not what's easiest to do.

I think I support this. I don't see any reason why not to. Unnessacary hardness is pointless.

Only... 200 levels left to go...

Seriously, and I said that I am not questioning premiumship, still you took up me doing so and expressed points against it.

You said that you weren't, but that doesn't change the fact that you seemed like you were. Saying that I'm not typing this post doesn't change the fact that I am.
Also, as I said on Page 2, I do not support unless the price is WAY higher than 50k. As such, since your most recent post suggests that it HAS to be 50k and the price won't be changed, I do not support. ^^'

In case you haven't noticed carefully what I wrote in this thread many a times, it is okay if the money is changed, either 100k or 200k or even higher (coz 50k is a very low price for a shiny). But the chain shouldn't break.

And facts are universal, Carpy. Noone can change them. As far as we are concerned, sitting on a computer miles away, no one can ever know what's going in someone's mind. So it is clear, that I did not stand against premiumship (because it is something that binds interests, and should really be there). If you and Luna still think I did, then take up the offence, and I really do not mind. Okay?

Quote from youif it is meant to be difficult, then it should be difficult for everyone. why is this being partial? (i'm not questioning premiumship here)
It's not being partial, as Premium members are SUPPOSED to have the advantage. This is definitely the most common reason for the purchase of Premium accounts. If it IS equally difficult for everyone, or close to that, then PH will get WAY fewer Premium members, and it might even have to shut down if it can't get money in other ways.
Does it now make more sense why we felt that you were questioning Premium and that your statement that you were not doing so was contradictory and seemingly false?

Also, when I said that I stopped supporting, it was because I misunderstood your most recent post (which specifically said 50k and did not say that it was okay to change it) and thought it implied that you had changed your mind. ^^' Sorry for the mix-up.

Well, what the conclusion is
Increase the price from 50k, but the chain shouldn't break after every shiny.

I think it should require paying AT LEAST 125k (or possibly a different price based on how many Shinies you already have in the chain, in which case 100k might be a better starting price) every time that you hatch a Shiny if you want to continue your chain. Until then:
a) Any Eggs that you hatch of the wrong species will break your chain, to prevent abusing this to get around breaking your chain.
b) Any Eggs that you hatch of the right species will NOT increase your chain OR have ANY chance of being Shiny (not just the non-increased chance), but they will not break your chain, either. (This prevents people from breaking their chains when their other Eggs hatch, since the Eggs often hatch at around the same time and this would be horribly unfair.)
c) If you get a NEW Egg during this time, regardless of species, your chain will break anyway. You can't exactly "accidentally" get a new Egg before paying the price (most of the time, when people break their chains by mistake, it's because they got the wrong Pokémon when TRYING to find the right one), so there's no reason to allow this, unlike the above.
You have as long as you need to pay the price, as long as your chain isn't broken. This way, there is no need to worry about when to pay the price, but you don't have to prepay, as people might get orders while they are chaining, not just before it, and therefore cannot pay at the same time that they get the batteries.

Now since increasing the money comes to point, i would rather suggest the aamount which is worthy of it.

I support this. It's horribly expensive to do the batteries. I didn't even know about the batteries until I did all the ads to get nuggets to get the pokeradar. All of a sudden there's batteries and it's more than a newbie can get. If you make it easy to do the pokeradar, why not the same for the batteries?

I'm gonna have to go with no support because I don't think this is necessary.

This wouldn't even change much in terms of how profitable shiny hunting is if you're still paying for the batteries. It'd just be faster and hunting multiple shinies of the same pokemon while non-premium isn't even that slow to begin with. To use my own recent back-to-back hunts for Applin without premium as an example:

#1 - April 10th (chain 114)
#2 - April 18th (chain 59)
#3 - May 5th (chain 106)

I don't think those are unreasonable times for hunts. Sure, starting over every time is a bit annoying and makes me miss premium but it's not that much of a hindrance.

(Also, obligatory mention that boosted shiny hunting is a big draw for people to get premium and it might not be wise to tamper with that. Who knows.)

Premium just needs more benefits for 80 bucks (that's more than a mainline pokemon game costs!) and I think that non-premium members should get some support too! (Was one up until yesterday XD) so I definitely think the radar should have some upgrades for non-premium users because it is so expensive for just one chain!
