I envy the dead.
Not because I hate being alive, or that I particularly wish to die, but because the dead have it made. They get eternal rest, they're remembered, and it doesn't matter if they get discredited or remembered in a bad light because they're not alive to know about it.

They don't have to put on a fake smile, hoping that no one notices. Their friends can't put them down, and they don't have to feel awful for something not their fault. They just no longer are.
I wish I could be like the dead, but I have to much to worry about with my family, my friends, my grades, my LIFE.
I just sincerely wish someone else could see my envy.
