My shiny silicobra is not evolving

It should evolve by level 36 I believe and mine is now 46 and still hasn't evolved.

Am I doing something wrong or Is this a bug?

Is it currently sent on a Rumble Mission or in a Battle Team? Either of these can prevent your Pokémon from evolving

Nope, not on rumble or a battle team. Oh! Wait I had it in daycare, will that keep it from evolving?!

Yes, the DayCare does that too.
Anything that keeps it 'busy', will stop it from evolving.

The DayCare is a bit tricky in this, because it can evolve, if it got interacted with at just the right time. If it levels up because of DayCare XP, it won't evolve.
