The catching minigame is badly messed up. The first time I tried it this contest, there were no Pokémon at all appearing for the last five seconds, so I tried it again instead of claiming an egg, and the second time there were no Pokémon appearing at all for the last TWENTY seconds.

Also, I’m just going to mention that every type of page on PH has been struggling to load and taking a lot longer than it ever did before the server migration.

I just encountered the same problem too, after the 120 second timer started, there wasn’t any pokémon sprites appearing even after waiting for like 30 seconds. I tried randomly clicking the screen in case the sprites were “invisible” or something but that didn’t work either.

Edit: I tried waiting for the 120 seconds to run out, then clicked retry instead of refreshing the page. Pokémon sprites appeared as normal throughout the whole mini game but again still stopped generating in the last five seconds (like some users mentioned before)

Edit 2: i saw someone said the bug sprites stop appearing for the last 20 seconds after hitting 70 points. I just tried the game again and got 92 points, again there were no sprites after that, but for the last five seconds.
Just wondering if there might be a connection between the number of points earned and the number of sprites left you can click?

Same i've have encountered this bug, I've been playing bug-hatching contest 4x but the pokemon sprite dosent show up So.. My encounter of this bug is like :

1st try : Not ecountered / Restart game to get higher points
2th try : Waiting 10 secs of game didnt show a sprite / Reloading the site
3rd try : At the end of the game -80 second (the last 20 sec) sprite stop showing up
4th try : Full 120 secs of waiting and the sprite didnt show up +I didnt get any points

I have also a experienced the same, in the first try the Pokémons didn’t appear after 70points or when 20 seconds were left and to confirm that my Internet was not acting up, I tried the game again and same happened in the last 20 seconds. So, I went and recorded my third try (though in the third try pokemons didn’t appear in the last 5~6 seconds)

it worked perfectly on the first try, didn't load a thing on the second, and on my third try there wasn’t anything in the last ten seconds

Worked for me in the first try and no Pokémon appeared for few times and after refreshing 2-3 times it worked for me!

Same problem (Used to work for me tho). The first time it well until the last 20 or so seconds, but after that all the sprites disappeared. On my next few attempts, no sprites appeared at all. (Edit: this is playing the game normally, I didn't like, press retry after the mini-game ended.)

same thing here, no pokemon for the first try, then the second one had no pokemon for the last 15 seconds and after that there weren't any pokemon entirely ;-;

This issue should now be resolved. I've tested it once and had no problems playing the game (except for my personal lack of knowing what's a bug-type and what's actually a grass-type)
