hi, i traded my onyx 4 times leveled up and everything all while holding a metal coat yet its still just an onyx? i thought this was user error but ive checked the wiki, evo guide forum, and with some experienced player and all have said it should be a steelix by now. i understand yall are busy and doing ur best to fix these bugs so i appreciate everything! Thank u staff members for working so hard to make this game the best possible!!

Onix can’t evolve into Steelix until it’s level 30.

... There is no level requirement for Onix. Could you set up a trade with me, spiritwolfy13? It'll allow me to check everything is correct and/or verify the bug.

Got the Onix [not a Steelix] and even gave it some Powerorbs in case it still needed to level up.

Trade evo was broken yesterday due to another fix I had applied (love it when bug fixes cause new bugs), but I had resolved it yesterday night already.

yeah more trade evo issues including pokemon holding items (sneasl holding razor claw), karrablast and shelmet (both in party), and regular trade evos (krokorok)

Sneasel and Krokorok don't evolve by trade, so those are not broken.
Sneasel is holding a Razor Claw at night, Krokorok evolves at lvl 40.

As for Karrablast & Shelmet, you'll need to give more details.
Did the accepted pokémon go to your party, where the other one was already waiting (= evolution) or did you move it from the storage box to the party after trading (= no evolution)?

oh my bad! i was using the evolving guide forum and that's why i thought snesel was via trade! and krokorok i just got wrong.


Karrablast was in my party, and shelmet was in my friends party, we traded them and neither evolved.
sorry for falsely reporting the first 2. the shelmet and karrablast one tho i dont think is/was working

You don't trade them with each other, PH is a little more complicated.

You evolve Karrablast by putting a Shelmet and a trade fodder in your party. You trade the trade fodder for the Karrablast, so it ends up in your party, with the Shelmet. Then the Karrablast will evolve.
