I’ve seen this couple times. I reported the posts for SPAM, and a mod must have deleted them, but the posts are still there. It’s not a huge issue, since the posts seem to disappear eventually.

They're SPAM that was removed in the past (hence there's only a title, but no posts, no creator,...), but forum tinkering made them visible again.
Could you tell me where they are? I'll take care of them asap.

By past, how long ago do you mean? Because the posts were only made 24 hours ago, and deleted within 24 hours.

They were in General Discussion, but they seem to have disappeared now (either because they were deleted, or because of reset)

They weren't made 24 hours ago, they were removed years ago (as they were SPAM) and 'recovered' 24 hours ago due to some Forum tinkering. There was probably some lingering trace that was made visible.

It's possible they were removed automatically (if Riako implemented a "time check" that automatically deletes posts 54 years old) or a different Mod saw them and deleted them.

I know they were made 24 hours ago, because I was the one who reported them ^^'
They were made ~7 hours ago at the time. The user who posted them is only a 20 day old account.

The original ones were deleted by a Mod, the 'echoes' that you made a screenshot of (posted 54 years ago) reappeared due to tinkering in the Forum/site.

The original SPAM was deleted, which is why there's only a title, but no logical starting date or even a creator [blank 'by'].

So your original statement "They're still there" is actually incorrect, as they were deleted as per the rules. Due to adjustments on the backend, they were republished without any of the actual data (only a thread number and a title).

The echoes reappearing is the bug here. (Which what I meant by “they’re still there”; they weren’t completely deleted/removed)

[I didn’t mean this as a complaint, that they weren’t completely “deleted as per the rules” (by a mod), which is why I labeled this thread with a “[B]” ^^’]

Posts are never completely deleted [same as pokémon are never completely deleted; even before the recovery system]. The number was assigned (even if the thread was deleted), so that number needs to be assigned "occupied" in a sense.

Yes, it's a bug, but it's not something that can really be "solved", as echoes are going to happen regardless.
The age of the server also plays a part in this. The older it is, the more likely information is to linger and be pushed back to the surface.

I never saw this as a complaint, I just got confused by the timeline. "In the past" simply meant that they were deleted and an echo reappeared. There's no rhyme or reason to how short (or long) ago the thread was deleted.
