Some turned to the "dark", some to the so-called "light", and others are caught in the crossfire.
The Shadows, the creatures of the night, took to the dark, still in hiding; hunted for their astonishing power. Since their numbers are few, they hide among the mortals, sneaking attacks at every opportunity.
The Hunters, children of the light, seek to purge the earth of these greedy creatures, using their superior powers for their own selfish gains.
The Neutrals, independent entities, are caught in the crossfire. They seek to remain free, not bound to either organization, but of course, that can always change.
Not everything is as it seems. Disguised as mortals and neutrals, these opposing organizations often infiltrate eachother. Never be sure of what side someone is until you seek the truth; if you are blessed with a drop of a hermit's wisdom.

The ability to bestow luck, good or bad, has been blessed upon Kierce. Although he can only give luck, he cannot predict nor specifically give a fate to the person he is helping or sabotaging. Neither can he give himself luck, the only situation in which he can is if he is willing to give up another life in order to do it.
The levels of the luck that he gives is totally random, only depending on his energy. If he is exhausted, his blessings could range from no luck or a huge level of luck. When he is satiated and replenished, he could slightly control the range of the luck given in his blessing.

Kieran Alpin had been living quietly in the wilds. Once in a while he would come upon people and groups looking for food or shelter. Normally, he would lead them to a river, but most recently, he had been helping them build a makeshift shack. No matter where their allegiances lay, he would help them and offer a bit of his wisdom and a dash of good luck.
Because of this solitary lifestyle, Kieran is on the quieter side, being more cautious with his words. However, he finds pleasure in participating in group activities, though straying away from a leadership role. He rarely second-guesses his choices and is extremely confident once he has made a decision. Still, if he's proven to be wrong, his ego won't be hurt and he'll just accept the fact that his confidence turned out to be false.

His childhood is full of joyful memories. He travelled with a group of hunter-gatherers, his mother and father also being a part of the huge happy party of people. His earliest memories are of his parents making stew with found mushrooms and vegetables with the sound of people chopping fruit nearby and dozing off. When he learned to walk, he was taught the differences between edible and non-edible organisms. Soon, as a teen, he was running between trees with basketfuls of food and returning to his party. It was pretty happy, but once the powers came of, the whole party decided to split up and join the alliances that they want. He stayed with his parents until they decided to go to the church and they left him by a small cabin. He was seventeen. He was slightly daunted by the thought of living alone, but the knowledge that there was a cabin with someone living in it nearby comforted a little. He grew accustomed to the loner life and soon took it upon himself to be a guardian for the area around the little cabin.

Adelaide can see the future, or at least, a possibility of the future. She has no control of her powers. Her eyes turn entirely red when she's not experiencing reality. Each time she unwillingly uses it, the red slit in her right eye grows. To bystanders, it simply looks as if she passes out for a few seconds and then regains consciousness.
Adelaide can't differentiate between dreams and real memories or visions and reality. She only knows if the present is real if she sees the reflection of her right eye is mainly white.
If she acts the same way she did in a vision, what she foresaw comes true. Over the years, she has become accustomed to what actions cause what outcome once she has a vision.
She never sees two outcomes of one situation, is she decides to change fate she has no way to know for sure how it will end.

Has no real alliances, but to herself. She finds societal hierarchies stupid and the conflict between the Shadows and the Shadow-Hunters amusing, if not stupid. Adelaide considers her power a curse, and has feared it from the start. She constantly seeks to create chaos for her own amusement, and is best described as the Cheshire Cat.
She uses her knowledge of the future to toy with whoever was in that particular vision, giving clues and sometimes speaking in riddles, like the Cheshire Cat.

Adeline was a 15-year-old girl living in a little cabin in the Enchanted Forest that seemed to be an abandoned Hermit Cabin, after having escaped from her abusive father, who lived in The City.

She was 16 when The Powers appeared, and 17 when hers manifested. Her first vision was during her sleep; she foresaw herself 4 years into the future (when the rp is), gone insane. When she woke up, her eyes were changed and she has a white slit in her right eye.
Over the years, lack on human interaction, trauma, and being unable to tell the future from the present led her to start to become insane. She cut her hair and slit her eye with a knife she carries around, her only form of defense.
She lost her memories from before The Powers, and occasionally gets flashbacks. She forgot her own name and now calls herself Adelaide Menace, although her real name was Adeline Robinson
By the time she was 18 and partially crazy, she decided to venture out to see the state of the world, discovering the Shadow-Hunter conflict.

Other: He replies on speed to kill/distract enemies, you can also play games, search up locations, and do anything on the computer without internet needed. He loves to search up your IP address and send threats/ or to annoy you
Warning: Slightly overpowered
Abilities (and restraints): Create spears of light in the day that can blind enemies and injure them, and neutralise shadow and light magic within a 20 feet radius at night. Any weapon she holds/uses will have their ability upped two times its usual power, in speed of swing/stab, strength behind blows and durability. Has an abnormally fast reaction speed when sneak attacked.
Restraints: Cannot deal damage personally unless attacked first, light spears will refuse to harm anyone else. This of course, can be frustrating at times. The shadow and light magic neutralising radius will leave her drained in the morning if she leaves it on throughout the night, slowing her and weakening her in every sense of the word, this field can also deter light/dark buffs on her, forcing her to turn it off if she wants them. The cooldown between lowering and putting up the shield is horrible, taking up to an hour to charge up after the first. Their weapon enhancement skills does not extend to guns, bones, or other projectile weapons, only things she can grab ahold of and keep a grip on, like a hammer, a rock, a metal pipe, a spear, etc etc will work. So, she’s limited to close range to mid range combat if she wants to use that ability. Durandals reaction speed is just plain slow if you walk up to her and ask her if you can fight, she only reacts fast to sneak attacks. Like walking up to her and stabbing her in the gut without warning, or shooting at her with a bow from behind.
Personality: Likes to hear herself talk, battle hungry. Will ally with anyone, then leave them to die when their purpose is served. To the people she cares about, she would probably still leave them to die if it’s a i die or she dies situation, but she’d definitely treat them warmer and try to help them if the situation is safe enough for her. Intelligent in her own way. (Think übel from frieren)
