So I have seen some people having black and white kyurem plushies, and that isn't unusual. But for some reason, the gifter is themselves. To my knowledge this isn't possible. So how do they do this?

i'm not sure but i'd guess that if the christmas gifts were anonymous and contained a kyurem plushie, the sender would appear as themselves, so as to not jeopardize the anon user

That is exactly what happened.
The Kyurem Plushie I got from 'CatLady' came from an anonymous user. Hence my own name.
