Despite the species having multiple NPCs [or will have, in the future], I [will be] the owner of all of them. Though, this species has been shaped by community feedback, and helped along by input from people close to me.

Realm Travellers: Beings who
carry the ability to travel realms via their own magic, without the
use of tools or constructs such as portals.
Realm Guardians: Beings that reside in different realms/dimensions to try to keep some semblance of balance. They typically report back to the Portal Hub if things seem amiss. There are often multiple Realm Guardians per realm, due to the sheer size of the realms they watch over.
The Portal Hub: Where this shop is located, founded by the original generation of Realm Guardians. It's a massive room with stone pillars lit with fire, as well as massive black stone structures with glowing markings engraved into them. These are the portal frames, with the portals for the different realms each having different colors and patterns. There are other rooms within the hub too, to facilitate a wide array of activities. This location was built to allow beings without the natural ability to travel realms to see other dimensions themselves with ease.
Felis Mortis: or in common words Death Cats. They are considered felines due to their general bodyplan being similar to that of big cats, despite the more dinosaur-like back feet. "Death" simply comes from their heads that take the form of the skull, though since their discovery, other skull shapes that are less feline have been observed.

Felis Mortis - Death Cats
These are creatures known to naturally be able to travel realms; they often explore, though for what reason is left unknown. The audible sounds they make often seem limited to growls/barks/purrs - common animal noises. Some rumours believe that they may be capable of telepathy.
Growth
Felis Mortis grow from their skulls. Once the skull of a Felis Mortis has developed, the concentrated magic within the skull will begin work on structuring the body of the creature. The realm they're "born" in often affects this stage of their development as their internal magic will react to the external realm's own source of magic to "decide" what will best help the creature's survival. Their magic will also draw on the "genetics" of their predecessor - the creature whose skull it grew from. The internal development of a Felis Mortis is often a surprisingly quick process.
During this phase of their life, they are encased in a shell, similar to that of an egg. When they first emerge, it's not uncommon for their skull to be unnaturally large compared to its still-growing body. Some traits may be present, including some semblance of paw traits or their tails; horns may show as little nubs at this stage. Other traits tend to develop later, such as their exact body type, horn shapes, wings and ears. The full growth of a Felis Mortis - from this stage to adulthood - can take quite a while.

[Name]
Associated with: Crafting & the ability to breed death cats
The NPC [as of yet, unnamed] associated with the crafting mechanic as well as one of the NPCs that discovered the ability to "breed" death cats. They are one of potentially many Realm Guardians and originate from the Realm of the Wastes, which is where they learned how to put together just about whatever to make a variety of sometimes useful, sometimes dangerous items. Despite the Portal Hub having perfectly breathable air, they often wear a gas mask and are rarely seen without it unless they're repairing it. On a surface level they put it down to "Liking the aesthetic" but it's also a bit of a comfort thing to them.

1. Naturally, all PokéHeroes rules
apply here. It is hosted on PokéHeroes.
2. Art theft will not be tolerated, within or outside of this shop. Do not take/use a design that does not belong to you/you haven't paid for/been given.
2.1. If you wish to upload a design watermarked "Error" offsite, credit my Toyhouse: ErrorTheDragon.
2.2. If Death Cat is watermarked as "Tord", credit his Toyhouse: Kittycat2045
3. I must be notified of all trades (involving items or designs) - this is so I can ensure that designs stay out of blacklisted users' hands, and so the masterlist is up to date. If you use a design when I haven't been notified of a trade, I may question it and ask for proof of transfer/agreement.
4. When purchasing eggs/designs do not edit more into your post after you've already posted, post a second post. This is to stop people from editing their post to try to "snipe" eggs from under other players.
5. If you have any questions/are unsure about anything, please ask me! I'm more than happy to help/explain things! Easier to answer questions to prevent mistakes than trying to correct mistakes!
6. Please don't heavily edit the forms/remove titles/etc. Those are what allow me to easily see what you're trying to do, so I'd prefer it if you kept them as in-tact as possible.
7. When making your first purchase, please let me know what nickname you'd like for me to use on the inventory [it's a publicly visible spreadsheet so anyone can check up on what items they have at any time!]
NOTE: Do not harass/ask people for items in their inventory that they haven't advertised as "for trade" just because you can see that they have them. You can ask if it's for trade, but if they say no, leave it.
If you are blocked by me, do not make an attempt to interact with me, or the species. Do not attempt to get a design from someone else to bypass me blocking you.

Here's where you can find Death Kittens for sale. They'll be organised by price [cheapest at the top, more expensive at the bottom] with little tags to indicate their rarity, nickname/title + price above them. [there'll be lines between each different egg]
Designs will be in egg form in the shop, and will grow into their adult form ~24 hours after purchase. However, everyone's first design will be immediately given as an adult without the waiting period, to allow you to more readily participate in the species activities + events!
Payment should be sent the moment your purchase has been confirmed! Make sure you haven't bought an egg someone else is trying to buy! You will not get the adult version until payment has been sent!
Do not forget Rule #7 if it is your first purchase! [telling me what you want to be called on the inventory]
Rarity is not the sole determiner for the price You can have a simple rare/epic design, or a really detailed common design. I'd feel bad charging more for a design that's simpler, just because of the traits it may have, so while rarity will slightly affect the pricing, it will mostly be based on the detail of the design.
The General Pricing will be around 25-200k PD Per Design
Alternate Payments will include:
-Nuggets [1:2000 Rate]
-Items [Rarely, will be listed if applicable]
-FR Currency [1 Treasure : 2 PD ||| 1 FR Gem : 1 PH Nugget]
Despite two artists being listed payment is still to go through me, and i'll forward the according payments to my friend! 'Cuz I'm the one sending the eggs/growths out, after all.
One Egg Per Person/Per Day
[Regardless of artist, you can't get 1 egg from each artist unless otherwise stated. Days are judged by Site Reset]

Information about Traits/Rarities
The different mutations of a Felis Mortis have been categorised into 4 rarities, the more mutations of a higher rarity one has, the higher rarity the Death Cat themself will be categorised as [3 or more epic traits = epic, for example].
The Rarities are explained below
Show
hidden content
Common Traits
are often on the simpler/smaller side, think a simple lion tail with a tuft at the end.
Uncommon Traits
can have a bit more detail, or are like "upgraded versions" of common traits [like Pearl Tail compared to Lion Tail]
Rare Traits
are bigger/more detailed - like huge wings or their whole tail being made out of fire, or are "upgraded" versions of uncommon traits [like Twin Pearl Tail].
Epic Traits
Are a little different, this refers to traits that are more man-made in appearance [think wires, candles, etc] or are traits designed for the different events.
For a Death Cat to be categorised as a specific rarity, they must have a certain number of traits matching or above said rarity.
To be a Common, a Death Cat needs Less than 4 Uncommon Traits, or up to 2 Rare Traits
To be an Uncommon, a Death Cat needs 4 Uncommon Traits or 3 Rare Traits
To be a Rare, a Death Cat needs 4 Rare Traits or 2 Epic Traits
To be an Epic, a Death Cat needs 3 or more Epic Traits
A Common or Uncommon can have 1 epic trait if they have 0 R traits [C] or 1 R trait [UC]
The reason for the varying traits is that Death Cats are known to adapt to a variety of environments - they live in multiple realms and need the traits/mutations that would help them thrive. Like wings in a place of sky-islands, or fins in an underwater realm. Sometimes their mutations don't necessarily help them survive, but nor do they hinder them [like different skull shapes] and so those mutations stick around, too.
Nobody really knows where Epic Traits came from, or how they originated - there are many theories but nothing yet solid enough to test, they don't seem to cause any harm to the creatures though.
Why Eggs?
Well... that's merely a shell/barrier to stop the delicate skull from getting damaged while the creature is still developing. Any of the creatures sold in this shop are already developed enough to hatch, they just sometimes need a bit of encouragement to break out of their shells, which is why oftentimes we end up handing over Death Kittens, not unhatched eggs.

When a Death Cat dies, its skull shatters into pieces. Some of these pieces contain enough magic to reform into a new creature entirely, often based around their environment.
Sometimes, your Death Cat might bring one of them back while they're out exploring.
This gives you the chance to choose what type of Death Cat you want, by placing the skull fragment in the realm of your choosing to get a design themed around/able to survive in that realm. Though, this process can take a while, so don't expect a Death Kitten to appear instantly.
These can take around 6-12 hours to hatch and 12-36 hours to grow up
We've noticed skull fragments can be split into two types - Regular and Events.
Regular skull fragments are found during normal explorations to the realms, event ones are found in the specific event realms that pop up every once in a while. An event skull fragment can't be used to give a "normal" design, nor can a regular skull fragment be used to give an event-themed design, they just don't form new creatures. Weird. We'll mark 'em as you find them, so you don't get the two confused.

If there are specific themes you'd like, drop them in the optional section! While not guaranteed, it gives a greater chance of you getting a design to your liking - even though these aren't necessarily customs, I want people to be happy with them. Try not to be overly specific, though, if you want specific designs, that's what customs are for!

Events are specially themed months in
the portal room, they're typically accompanied by a strange portal
showing up [a new realm to explore], alongside a special event
potion, some event creatures to breed with that will later be given
away, and some other little details!
There will be four main events, that cover two major themes each
Halloween: Oct 1st - Oct 31st - Halloween/Horror & Autumn
Christmas: Dec 1st - Dec 31st - Christmas & Winter
Valentine's: Feb 1st - Feb 28/9th - Valentine's & Plushies
Easter: [???] - Easter & Spring/Flowers
In the middle of the year, when there's not as much going on in terms of events [they're mostly at the start/end of the year], there'll be a [REDACTED], to allow [REDACTED] without [REDACTED].

Now, it's no surprise for me to include these things in the species.
There will be 2 main types of exploration:
Gathering:
You, the player, try to enter an area once per day and gather some items [3-5 items]. [Cannot collect Rare items, nor enter all areas without assistance from certain items]
Exploring:
You send 1-3 of your Death Cats out into any of the areas, and they return after a bit of time with loot that can be used for crafting [1 energy spent = 5 items].
When there is an ongoing event you can only send as many Death Cats as you haven't sent on event explorations.
Example: If you send 2 on event explorations, you can send 1 on a normal exploration.
You can still use gathering throughout the event.
The Realms
Show
hidden content
Realm of the Cosmos
An interesting realm, horizontally split into two halves - consisting of an "upper" section of the realm and a "lower" section of the realm. It's hard to tell which is which, as it all seems a manner of perspective - what side you're standing on. One side of the realm features a large moon, comets are commonly seen through the sky. The land and sky seem to be cooler in tone, blues and purples and silvers. The other side is hot, a large sun, meteor strikes are common (and can pose a threat to life if one's shelter isn't built out of suitable materials) and full of oranges/reds and golds. Both sides of the realm don't have a "sky" as you and I know it - just endless galaxies and stars.
Design Themes Possible: Space themes/Split Themes (fire/ice, light/dark, etc).
Realm of the Caverns
A dark realm, there is no sunlight to be seen at all. Just endless caverns and twisting tunnels. Throughout the caves bioluminescent fungi grow, and can even be picked and used as a light source! [though... definitely not a food source...]. In these deep caverns, there are a variety of crystals and gemstones of varying sizes - some of which being completely different than those commonly seen on earth. The wildlife here is often poisonous, probably best to bring your own food along than risk trying to find something edible here.
Design Themes Possible: Crystals/Gemstones/Mushrooms and cave life
Realm of the Wastes
Gathering is not possible in this location.
True to it's name, this place is the equivalent of a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Nuclear apocalypse, that is. The lifeforms that live here are often incredibly hostile, and it's impossible to survive here without appropriate gear. Despite this, there are some known settlements of people, people who've learned to live and adapt. "To survive, is to use everything to your advantage." And no, you can't go around touching or eating whatever you find here, unless you have a death wish, perhaps.
Design Themes Possible: ???
Realm of the Deep
Gathering is not possible in this location.
This realm is entirely made up of water, with no land to be seen in sight - even for beings who've lived and travelled through the realm for months or years. Though, this place supports a large amount of biodiversity and if one were to travel they could see a variety of stunning sights. Though, sadly, because of the realm's nature it means that travel for beings who can't breathe underwater is... nearly impossible.
Design Themes Possible: Aquatic life [fish/plants/etc]
Realm of the Sky
Luckily, this realm isn't just "endless sky and clouds." It's actually made up of floating islands and really colorful wildlife. Though travel without wings can be pretty tricky, the people who live here have been trying to build bridges between the islands. They stress that they're only to be used if what you're trying to do is really important. Some of the creatures here can be pretty hostile, and have been known to attempt to knock travellers off of the bridges that're being constructed.
Design Themes Possible: Bright colored designs, birds, etc
Realm of the Past
This realm seems trapped in an era we can no longer experience. The plant life that grows here is absolutely giant, as are the animals. This realm is mostly known for it's jungle or foresty biomes, sustaining a variety of prehistoric wildlife. This is one of the most hospitable realms to live in, for the most part. The beings that call this place their home often make their settlements high up in the trees.
Design Themes Possible: Dinosaur-ish/General Animal/Plant Life
Realm of the Mechanical
A realm of mechs and wiring. The "lifeforms" here aren't actually "alive" in the traditional sense, they're constructs formed from magic and technology. The magic is what sustains their lifeforce, stops them from rusting, but for the most part they are mostly mechanical. It's not uncommon to find broken pieces of technology scattered around.

Let's be honest, if you're gathering materials you gotta find a use for them! This will be listing all of the potions/items you can craft, and their uses. These items include things that can change the appearance of your creatures, things that can temporarily affect stats, or items that can allow you, the player, to gather in certain areas that you usually couldn't, if you so wish.
If you want to know more details about how certain potions work - feel free to ask me!
Note: Recipes are subject to change, depending on how easy/difficult it is to obtain certain items.

YES you can still use Event Potions with this form, even with there being no ongoing event!
Item Conversion
Sometimes, during events, you get a ton of items that you don't really intend to use! Which, honestly, who am I to judge? Here will allow you to "convert"/trade event items for random normal items of equal rarity!
Event items are traded at different ratios based on their rarity for non-event items of the same rarity, but you can't guarantee what items you'll get in return!
Common: 1:7
Uncommon: 1:5
Rare: 1:3
Potions are currently not eligible for trade/converstion!

Naturally, people are going to find designs that they think would look neat to be combined [whether they share similar or opposing themes, or whatever other reason!], and who am I to deny them?
In the wild, Death Cats don't actually reproduce. The way a new Death Cat is made, is from the death of another. When one Death Cat dies, its skull shatters into pieces. Some of these pieces contain an immense amount of magic, and in the right conditions those pieces are able to slowly grow and reform into a new skull, and then a new creature entirely.
Here we've found a different method - using a bit of science and a bit of magic to combine the traits of two or more Death Cats, we're able to create our own Death Kittens that share traits with both/all of the parent creatures [sometimes, it can be a little random and they can look a bit more like one parent than the other(s)]. This process can take a little while though, it's still a little experimental, after all.
Because of its experimental nature, we don't mind doing it for free! It's just more practice, in the end!
The amount of kittens given will be dependent on the amount of users involved - if there's 4 different users, then 4 kittens will be produced! Though, in the case of a one-owner pairing (only one person volunteering their creatures) there have been rare cases of twins. We... haven't figured out what causes that, yet.
The usernames section is just to put all of the owners of the Death Cats involved in the pairing! If it's just you, just put your own name down and that's it!

The only "hard no's"/restrictions with breeding are that a Death Cat may not breed with its parents, siblings, half-siblings or children. Anything further is up to individual users to decide.
If you choose to use a potion of mutation, let me know who's crafting it/who's using theirs [in case of more than 1 person involved having the required ingredients/the potion in their inventory]
If you've gathered enough potions, you can create your own custom Death Cat.
This was a feature I, myself, suggested in the old species I worked on, so I feel like no harm could be done by bringing it over to this one!
During explorations, your Death Cats may find these strange potions laying around. If you bring us enough, we'd be more than happy to try to create you a custom creature to your own specifications. Event potions are, naturally, included in this.
You'll notice that the potions given are [rarity] [location] and don't give specific names to the trait they represent.
For example "Common Ears" instead of "Common Fox Ears"
This allows each individual user to have more control and allows all potions to be useful [instead of there being stockpiles of less desirable potions while more desirable ones are in high demand but low supply]
The form for creating a custom is below.
Fees for creation will be around 25-250k PD - based on their complexity + detail

How you select the traits to use is simple. If you have a common ears potion that you wish to use, you can choose from any common ear type, put it into the form [for example "common lion ears"], and the potion will be deducted from your inventory. Epic potions work slightly differently and can only apply the non-event epic traits [you need event potions to apply epic traits from events]. You can apply rarity changer potions to achieve higher rarities.
To determine the rarity of the eyes, all you'll need is a rarity change potion from the regular crafting shop - equal to the rarity that you want the eye to be [excluding epic. There are no epic traits for eyes.] unless you wish to leave them common [black sclera with colored pupils or black sclera with single-colored irises and black or white pupils]. Common eyes are free, basically, you only need potions for UC/R upgrades.
In the "extra traits" section, "nothing" is a valid option and will not take a potion from you if you choose to leave that section blank. You only need a potion if you're adding something there.
For "colors" feel free to give me specific color codes or even a color palette from the internet. And for "Pattern Details" feel free to give me images to make your idea extra clear! It's fine, I don't mind. You don't have to go into very specific detail ["Black horns + black body + black tail + black wings"] just a brief "Black base coat with [color] [style] markings" is enough!
Other Notes
You can ask for things such as "Torn [version of] Wings" and "Broken [version of] Horns" and it will result in no change to the rarity at all! It's just a small change that can be passed down via breeding! [the tears might be different each time though, as I hand-draw them]
If you wish to make "glass/container" versions of traits [like glass horns/glass spikes] you will need to supply an Epic Rarity Changer or use an Epic Potion [and tell me which lower-rarity trait you want making into glass - not all are possible] as the glass traits [like the glass/container body] are classed as "Epic" for being unnatural

Yes. You heard right. Training + Battling is an [as of now, untested] feature of Death Cats. Why dya think I decided to go all in on them having stats? But luckily battling is not a necessary feature!
Training is what gives your death cats EXP at the cost of their energy - upon levelling up, you will get +3 stat points to spend, and all of their stats will increase by +1 stat point naturally! You can reset spent stat points (the +3) with a potion if you wish to re-stat a certain Death Cat. The max amount of times you can train is equal to the death cat's energy, and each energy gives 1 exp. Levelling up does refill energy.
If you so wished you could spend them purely on stats relating to adventures [such as luck/stamina] if the battling mechanic isn't your style. As I said, it's uh. Basically completely untested anyway. Battling isn't against other living creatures mind you, if ethics is your worry! It's basically a self-contained simulation within a pocket dimension.
Eventually battling will have its own loot pools + rewards but uh yeah. Uh. Untested. And because of that I wouldn't say battling is ready for release but training maybe.
You get two training slots per day! - as even if a Death Cat levels up you can't send them to explore after training, gotta let 'em have some rest for their hard work.

Here you can find the visual traitlist for the species, allowing you to see what current traits in each category exist, and what rarity they area.
All traits in the EVENT section are classed as Epic Rarity. [The reason they're separate is to show the non-event epic traits more clearly.]
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some traits may be altered/redrawn slightly in the future. If it's a minor adjustment it won't really be announced [but will be updated]. If it's a more major adjustment/redraw, I'll announce it so you guys aren't left in the dark.

@Everyone Else
Adventure Results have been Rolled out!
Pairing results will be ready when they're ready, no time estimate yet. [too late for me to start work tonight]
Hey, hope ya don't mind me asking, do you have a preferred nickname for me to use to log the items in the inventory? [the lil spreadsheet the species uses]. I just like asking people in case they change usernames often/have a main nickname they fall back on [like me & "Error"]/etc.
I know I previously specified species purchases but i suppose gaining items also counts as something i'd need a nickname/inventory name for [considering it's linked to the species n stuff]
Once that's sorted i'll do the little roll for the loot!
