A sarcastically cheerful man, Kei is best described as a maniac. A lunatic. An absolute madma. At some point, something in him snapped, and now? He keeps a smile plastered on his face, gleefully laughing at the face of danger. He has a penchant for research of unnatural, dissecting any creature he's lucky enough to stumble upon and capture. He has a soft spot for children, though. Despite the fact that he's a lunatic and absolutely evil, he has his morals, morals and values that he will never shirk.
Backstory -
Kei Miyazaki's childhood was a rough one- not because of monetary struggles, no, his dad was plenty rich. But his family was... dysfunctional, to say the least. his father was an acclaimed scientist, while his mother had died while Kei was still young, as she had giving birth to Kyoko, his younger sister. Kyoko was constantly sickly, and due to their father's lack of interest or care, Kei looked after his younger sister on his own for a long, long time. For a bit, life was looking up! He found a girlfriend, and his sister seemed to be getting better, and he was happy. But then, as all happy times do, it ended in a series of unfortunate events, much like lemony snickett's novels of the same name. His sister's treatment stopped working one day, leading to a rapid decline in her health. His girlfriend broke up with him, due to his rapidly declining mental state, and he pushed everyone in his life away, turning to nothing but mindless days of video games and old comedy shows. But, somehow, he forced himself out of that slump, started to try and improve himself, get into shape and whatnot. He applied for college, graduated, used his late father's inheritance money to pay off his debts, got a comfortable job, and tried to keep his positivity up! And then his sister died. His mental state took a massive blow that day, sending him spiraling into depression, into an abyss hat no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't break free of. And then, of course, the world started to crash and burn. Now, he found it important to learn how to fight, and what better way than with illegal firearms? Using the massive inheritance that his father left behind, Miya learned how to wield guns- whether they be pistols, rifles or even high-calibre machine guns- and learned how to box, an endeavor that he had attempted while he was a teen, but had long since given up on. he uses his vast funds and fairly above average combat skills to track down unnatural, and oft dissects and sells them on the black market. he doesn't find any joy init, but his funds are bound to run out sometime.
