Automatically, Yohan wanted to rebuke by saying if she had actually gone crazy. But in their current dire situation, Yohan safely decided to keep his words back, as it would only serve as oil to the flame. But even if he wanted, there was absolutely no chance that he would be able to win against the otherwise, fit Alaire. Even if there was a slim chance, it would completely exhaust him.
Plus, did he mention that the last time he exercised was in PE class?
The last PE class he took was in high school, where it was compulsory.
"...I'm an office worker for odg's sake! Damn you...!" Yohan croaked. His stamina was unfortunately running out. He was slowly starting to lag behind Alaire, with their distance steadily increasing.
Damn it!
He should've listened to the advice of the internet on how good health means good life!
But it's too late to regret now. If he slows down, then who cares about health if he is dead!
With newfound determination, Yohan grits his teeth, and sped up. Sure his back hurts, and his legs are sore. Sure every breath feels like it is sucking away his life energy. But for sure, is that Yohan knows that if he slows down, he WILL become the next meal for the damn sea snake!
Elias ran off the body of teh snake, before leaping onto the bridge.
He rolled to a stop, before running.
Perceval was running too, next to Elias.
Perceval called out to the two ahead.
"Do not stop until the snake hits the bridge! Run past the train, follow the tracks!'

"GOGOGO!!!" Alaire yelled at Percival and Elias as the party sprinted away from the falling colossal reptile. They almost completed their first quest. This was amazing.

If only he himself could receive the 10% stat increased as well.. But now is not the time to pity himself. Victory is in sight, everything at the end could be worth it. It has to be.
"HURRYYY UUUPPPP!" Yohan yelled on the top of his lungs, forcing his legs to move like a motor. Soon he was slowly catching up to Alaire.
[Escape the Bridge!]
[TIme Limit- 30 Seconds]
[Escape into the train Tunnel within 30 seconds!]
[Rewards-> 300 Coins]
Elias sprinted, pushing himself.
10 seconds.
It seemed Alair and Yohan had already mad it.
8 seconds.
Perceval made it.
6 seconds.
A message board popped up in front of him.

4seconds...
3 seconds...
and Elias leaped forward, at the moment the body of the snake hit the bridge the bridge collapsing under the weight of the snake.
He landed just beyond the edge of the bridge, rolling to a halt.
His eyes flickered back to gold.
he jumped up, glancing around frantically.
"What did I- Wait- did I just- Was that me? Id I just-"
He stammered, looking around.
A message appeared in front of Elias.
[Congratulations! You have fully completed [Scenario 1]!]
[Now calculating rewards...]

Alaire looked at the completion message hovering in front of her. They had actually done it; killed something, escaped the train, battled a sea-serpent, summoned constellations, and stayed alive. Somehow.
"If that was scenario one, we better have time to prepared for scenario two," she griped darkly. "I'd hate to see us die now after coming... so far." It was undeterminable whether or not she was being sarcastic.

Staring upon his status window, he contemplated. It was no wonder that he gained the least amount of coins, as his performance was nothing other than a joke. Unlike Alaire who atleast showed some courage. But Yohan wasn't so caught up on that matter. He could always improve in the future.
Now, what was important was choosing his weapon.
Should he go for a bat like Perceval?
No, it would be too heavy for the current him to carry.
A bow perhaps?
No that was too inconvenient, nor was he confident that he could even use it.
No matter what Yohan thought, the pocket knife seemed to be the best option, as it was light to carry, easy to transport, and dealt enough damage that he could protect himself. Plus he was much more familiar with using it, than any other weapon.
Without further a do, Yohan picked the pocket knife, casually tossing it around, getting the feel for it.
He grinned.
"You know that one game where the MC had a baseball bat while fighting these, like, space beings? Man, this makes me feel like him."
Perceval stretched lazily, before starting to walk off.
"Come on. It's time for the next scenario, don't you think?"
Elias shook his head violently, putting his newly-acquired knife away, along with his indestructible pen.
"W-wait! Where are we going?"
Perceval laughed.
"To the city, of course."

Alaire pushed the thoughts out of her head. Why did she even care? He didn't seem to have corrupt intentions at the moment, and that was all that mattered. Using her staff as a walking stick, she made a move to follow him. Alaire wondered if they could upgrade weapons. Would they need to find more, or could she create something legendary from her basic training staff? The thought was appealing, a weapon forged by her own experience.
She paused at Elias, who was standing open-mouthed, staring after Perceval. There really was a disconnect between the fighter and the boy she saw now. She brushed a hand along his shoulder.
"Are you okay?"

He stared at her for a moment, before looking away.
"...There's... everything that's going on feels too familiar. And everyone here reminds me... of people I... think i used to know."
Elias messed with the zipper of his coat.
"...I don't know... why... who I am. I don't know what's going on. It feels like every time that message board comes up, I'm not myself anymore."

"Hmm. You mean like a sense of deja vú? Triggered by the message board? Because I've noticed it too, you almost turn into a different person when you're fighting." There was only a hint of concern in her eyes.
She put a hand of Elias's, to both stop his nervous fiddlings with the zipper, and reassure him he was present in the moment. He seemed unsure, and the juxtaposition with the warrior who had taken down a sea serpent was unnerving.

He blinked a few times, stopping in the middle of his sentence.
He stopped.
And then, he shook his head.
"...what was I talking about?"

Alaire didn't miss a beat, continuing her easy pace. She wasn't a master of charisma for nothing.
