"Well then, maybe this is where we part ways. I'm not playing this
time through by your invisible rules. So you either follow me to
minimize your darling calamatious behavior, or you go hide under a
hole like a coward. I want an adventure, and I literally don't care
if I die. But I want to work with them."
Alaire levelled him with a glare, crossing her arms.
"As of now, the feeling's getting pretty mutual. Also, you would
think that after a million or whatever lifetimes, you should know
by now that you can't lie to me. I think you loved me in a timeline
or two. And then I died. Apparantly for you, which I resent, but
that's beside the point. Now it's easier to hate me." She dragged
him towards the mall, her arm still in his.
"Of course, naturally." She suppressed a laugh, knowing it would
only infuriate Miyasaki further. "Tell me about this mall we're
going to. Do Toshiko and Chizu go there often in timelines? What
can we expect?"
"Are they in pain, or looking for a fun time?" She quipped, trying
to keep the mood light. Alaire grabbed his arm again, and dragged
him over to the shattered storefront, less than amused at his
evasive nature.
"Let's go, darling idiots. I do believe the one called Chizu will
be easier to reason with."
