The End[with ~4PR1L, Serendibite, Marginal~Red, JustCath]
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → The End[with ~4PR1L, Serendibite, Marginal~Red, JustCath]But aside that, he noticed that Elias has four instead of 3 constellations vying for him. Does that mean that there could be even more constellations who would notice them in the future?
Somehow this reminded him of a streaming service, about how one would donate money to sponsor a streamer they liked to motivate them to do a certain action. But this time, he was the one being streamed, and these 'constellations' are the one who will be deciding whether he lives or not.
This did not sit will in his stomach, he didn't like his life in the hands of another being. Rather, he'd like it for it to be the other way around. Perhaps, that's why tyrannical constellations liked him. But just like other tyrants, Yohan liked being in control.
So.. does that necessary meant that he needs to choose a sponsor now? Rather, Yohan decided to watch as the clock ticked by, planning to choose one at the last moment. Let's see if anything will change by then.
"Any idea where that adorable sea serpent we have to fight is?" She asked the Dokkaebi. "I'd like to succeed and prove myself... somewhat adept at this game." She did not try to flirt with the scary monster. It had already murdered people, and Atlas had some sense of self-preservation.
"Yohan, whatcha going to choose? <3" She asked sweetly.

The Dokkaebi suddenly disappeared.
And then, the door flew off the hinges, crumpling in on itself.
Someone sighed, as the footsteps approached the group.
"Four people? How odd. There was only supposed to be two... and none of you are them..."
Elias jumped in surprise, pointing his bloodsoaked pen at the man.
The man raised his hands, though most of his features were covered by the dust.
"Woah, woah. Calm down. I mean you no harm."
Elias glared at the man, suspiciously.
"Who- who are you?"
The dust cleared, revealing a sharply dressed man, tall, at about 6'1, with short, silver hair and dim golden eyes.
His smile was devious.
"Name's Perceval."
And his clothes were stained with blood.

He especially emphasized, the 'none of your business' part with a strong tone, before looking away and tapping the second option, ['Tyrant of the Frozen Wasteland']. Time was running out, so he might as well stop his diddly daddling. Especially since there was a newcomer in front of them, who effortlessly blew off the hinges of the train like a superhuman.
Also, wtf, a superhuman??
And then... a newcomer. He was extremely hot, but Alaire didn't trust him. Maybe his cold vibe had something to do with the blood on his clothes. He was new, and she didn't know what his constellation was, or what his purpose was. At least with the others, she could at least gauge a sense of what their fighting styles were like.
"Hello, Percival, love," she said with a devious smile of her own. Just because he was suspicious didn't mean she couldn't try to get to know him. "I'm Atlas. It's a pleasure to meet you~"

He says his name is Perceval, and clearly, this guy was much more powerful than them, and was in a rather gleeful mood despite the new situation. It felt like.. he expected everything or has done this plenty of times beforehand.
There was just so much things wrong about this guy, and Yohan didn't like that. So many questions and mysteries, and what did he mean by there was only supposed to be 2 people who ended up surviving in this cabin? How would he know there would be only 2 people who would end up surviving?
"How much do you know?" He asked with a wary expression. Unlike a certain women who wanted to try her luck with every person she meets, Yohan was much more wary and on guard.
How come he didn't know there would be so many psychopaths in the world?
He gave of weird vibes.
Behind him, beyond the door, all that could be seen of the other train car was that it was stained with blood.
He shifted over slightly, to block their view.
"A beautiful name for a beautiful lady~!"
He laughed, before looking at Yohan.
"And you, good sir?"
He was just ignoring Elias, it seemed.

Okay. So me, Elias, and the two other weird people are the only survivors. Good to know. They decided to momentarily take note of their belongings.
"Lucky for you, pitiful mortals, the great constellations up above wish to sponsor you! Choose quickly. You have 5 minutes. Until then, goodbye~!"
Great. So they had five minutes to pick something. They thought contemplatively while randomly flipping through their grimoire. It looked like the other people had already picked theirs anyway.
The Scales of Wisdom... that had to be Libra, the seventh astrological sign in the zodiac. (Themis?)
The Papyrus-Bound Book of the Dead... it was definitely Egyptian, if Blake remembered correctly. (Heka/Thoth?)
The Venerable One-Eyed Elder... well, Odin was old and one-eyed. Definitely him. (Odin. Definitely)
"Yohan Park."
This guy still didn't give him any good vibes, and the fact that he kept trying to cover something behind him is making it seems even more suspicious.
"...But names aside, why did you say that you expected two other people here instead of us four?"
Yohan motioned to everyone inside the train still.
His smile was bright, but definitely suspicious.
"How could anyone expect anything in these conditio-"
Perceval was cut off by the sound of shattering glass.
Elias had smashed a window open with his pen.
Perceval stared blankly at Elias.
"...Did I just pull a 5-star?"

Well, this was an easy pick. Odin was clearly far stronger than either of the other options, even though the Book of the Dead would fit them more in terms of aesthetic. The power of the Great Old Ones surely exceeds that of Odin, but Blake wasn't sure whether it referred to the Necronomicon or the Book written by the Ancient Egyptians.
But then again, the Necronomicon was supposedly bound in human skin, not papyrus. They hesitantly tapped [Option 3- Venerable One-Eyed Elder] on the holographic window thing.
They looked around a bit more. The fluffy thing was back, and so was another weird person. Blake decided to silently observe which is definitely not because their roleplayer is sleep deprived and have barely any creativity left.
Very uncomfortable.
His gut was telling him to run.
[Constellation [A Crow Cries Upon the Shoulder of the Spear-Struck Hero] tells its' incarnation to leave these people behind.]
"I can't do that!"
He seemed to have realized he ahd just said that out loud.
Perceval was staring at Elias.
Elias didn't like that.
Suddenly Perceval darted forward, grabbing Elias hy the shoulders.
"My friend, you are the only 5 star here. I knew pulling so many times would pay off!"

She smiled quizzically at Elias, raising an eyebrow at his outburst. How was it that she had only known him for a half hour, and she already cared about his well-being? She'd driven Yohan away, which was to be expected, but she could tell they would become friends in the end. Blake was harder to figure out, perhaps the only one of their number who had touched magic before The Game.
And where was her sea serpent?

Was this really just a game then? No. Yohan shook his head, he mustn't take on this mentality. Not when his life's on the line. He doesn't have the authority yet to consider everything as a game.
Staring at Percival, before glancing back to look at Elias. Everything was just so strange, what was Percival hiding from them? Why did he seems to prepared for everything? His easy-going attitude put the ever-serious Yohan off. No, not just Percival, many things has put Yohan off in just a single day.
From this wretched day.. to just everything!
"Hah. This.. This is so ridiculous." Yohan scoffed quietly, and brushed his bangs back with his right hand, showing a sarcastic smile. The feeling of being played in the hands of another was just sickening!
Just when he thought that he escaped the chains of the past that kept his docile, another one came. When could he finally become a ruler of his own life...?!
"..Goddammit..!" Yohan grits his teeths, and turned his head away from everyone in frustration, and instead looked outside of the train. There he saw the other cabin.. covered in blood. Not another soul in sight.
Chills.
Chills, ran through Yohan's whole entire body. He didn't dare look back at Percival, as he already knew the answer the other person would give him. Who else held such power to cause such destruction.. if not for the other male?
Before, Yohan didn't realize it.. but now.
'Ah. He could kill us easily.'
"I-uh- we should-"
He stammered, pointing at the hole through the window he'd formed just a moment ago.
A strange look passed over Perceval's features for a moment, before he let go of Elias, nodding.
"Alright, then. Let's go!"
He seemed to be ignoring the others, now.
How odd.
A strange shadow passed the train, at least a dozen times bigger than the huamns.
That was probably the snake.

Yohan, Alaire, Percival. Got it.
This was honestly pretty fun, even though they weren't a big fan of video games or anything. And Perceval was kinda weird too, but every good game needs a Perceval-like character anyway. Mehhh, he gives neutron star
"Alright, then. Let's go."
Blake perked up. "Soooo... do we get to see the big flying wet snake now? And beat it up?"
"Kill? The snake? Kid, that's a three-star monster, that's 20 times the size of a bus. And by three-star I don't mean the weak3st tier. I mean three star in the ranking system this game goes by, which means it's part of the third-strongest catagory."
How did he know all this?
"We're just regular humans."
There were two people in this train car that most definitely could not be considered regular humans.
Perceval, who wiped out an entire train car, and Elias, who killed four men with a ballpoint pen in a matter of seconds.

After a few tries, Yohan finally restrained his rapidly beating heart, and pulled himself back up from the deep seas of his mind. Pacifying his expression, he turned his head back facing the others.
"Yes, so what do you suggest we do instead?" Yohan asked in a monotone/bland tone, showing absolute nothing out of the ordinary from the seizure earlier. Like all those thoughts that has been plaguing his mind weren't there in the beginning.
Yes, he's fine. Absolutely fine.
"Killing those 3-star sea serpents are part of the requirement to pass this scenario." He reminded everyone.
Perceval rolled his eyes, watching Elias slip out of the train car, through the broken window.
He followed suit.
"Perhaps you should read the screen more carefully."

A petty part inside of Yohan wants to get revenge. But, as clearly, the power difference seem so great, there clearly wasn't an option to do so.
So, the next best option: Passive Aggressiveness aka Sarcasm it is.
