Hi. I'm having some questions about pokédex.

1 - I'm filling the gaps in my Sinnoh dex to get Arceus egg from Prof. Rowan to be able in use the Azure Flute but came in my mind: Do I need make the other regions before or I can continue with Sinnoh dex?

2 - I have some Sinnoh mons as shinies and regulars in my boxes. Do I go need they be all shinies or it's not necessary?

3 - To get Arceus egg from Prof. Rowan do I need the other legendaries eggs entries too such as Shaymin or just the basic ones?

4 - To get a Rotom egg the only way are through breeding or has another way/place?

1 - No, you can get every sinnox dex pokemon without compleating other dexes

2 - No, you just need regular mons

3 - You need EVERY pokemon that is in dex, even shaymin

4 - You can get it from lab too, but its rare or gem collector if you have its dex entry

Addendum to the previous answer to the 3rd question you don’t need the egg entries

1 - You can complete any of the dexes in random order, you don't have to start with Kanto

2 - All versions of a Pokemon count towards a dex, including shiny, regular, and shadow for Kanto/Johto. So if you have a shiny form, you don't need to get the regular as well.

3 - You don't need any of the EggDex entries to complete a dex. You only need (all of) the Pokedex entries listed on the Sinnoh section of the Pokedex page. This includes form changes, but not Megas/Gigas.

4 - Rotom has the special rarity, which means it is not obtainable from the lab or gem collector. It is obtainable through the Safari Zone or breeding. As I stated in Q3, you do not need the EggDex entry, so you could buy them from another user. You'll also need 5 other forms of Rotom to complete the Dex.

EDIT: well that's stupid. I don't get why the Rotom are not included in the Dex while the Castform are... Sorry for the confusion ^^

About Rotom: Even the Emera ones? Because in my pokédex just ask for 6 (rotom + 5 cannon forms).

You will need Rotom and these forms for the Sinnoh Dex:

> Heat Rotom

> Wash Rotom

> Frost Rotom

> Fan Rotom

> Mow Rotom

All other forms won't be needed.
