Sera was very set in her ambitions. She continued to try annoying
the guard- or whoever was on the other side of the door- long
enough for them to open it. "Let me go...! Let me go...!"

All Sera got was a sudden flash of bright white light, before she
was knocked back onto a pile of conveniently placed, fluffy
pillows. There was suddenly a magical barricade between her and the
door. “Don’t tempt me, cloud girl. My patience runs thin.”
Otherwise, there was no other comment made, and the guard was
otherwise ignorant to the girl’s pleas
Well, if the door didn't work, then she would bang on the walls. So
that's what she started to do- even though her knuckles were
becoming increasingly scratched and raw. "Let me out...! I don't
care what you do, you can't hurt me...!"

Not-Jack didn't seem to like that answer. It grabbed Kendo by the
neck, tossing him over its shoulder like a rag doll, and created a
sphere of shadows to encase the two. The mana explosion could not
leave the confinements of the orb. Kendo could not break the orb.
They would either both live or both die. Well, Not-Jack would be
fine. But it would lose such a fun little host.
Answers or Arthur, answers or Arthur? Not-Jack had a decision to
make, and it wanted answers. It could kill Arthur later.
"Little boy, you're going to kill yourself and your darling Jack
if you don't begin to explain yourself." It didn't even know
what answers it was looking for, but any explanation by the idiot
would help.
"Fine. Kill yourself and her both. I can find myself another fun
little host once another deal goes sour." Not-Jack crossed its
legs, suspending itself in middair. It was still alluringly
beautiful, until one looked closer and saw the shadowy skin and out
of place facial features.
A second barrier appeared, throwing Sera back onto the pillow pile.
It seemed that the barrier surrounding Sera was tightening,
preventing her from hitting wall, door or window. “I think you
don’t want to stand absolutely still in a tiny magic barrier that
shocks you every time you touch it. Stop trying to escape, stop
banging on the walls, or that will be your fate.”
She stopped and looked at the door. It seemed hopeless... She would
never get out. She'd be locked there forever.
In her moment of crisis, she wondered if Jack and Kendo and the
others still even cared about her. And that wasn't a good
thought.
She sniffled, teary eyed, then began to cry. Her cries quickly
turned to sobs, and she was as loud as ever- much louder than she
usually was. She couldn't even yell as loud as she sobbed.
"Mama-!" She choked out, wiping her face raw.

“You’re so annoying. Ughhhhhhhh. Why the hell did I
ever agree to this.” An equally loud, fierce voice boomed from
behind the door. Uh oh. Sera had pissed the guard off, it seemed.
The vibrations of the magical barrier became stronger and stronger,
till the barrier around the door broke, the force of which sent the
door flying off its hinges. There lay the perfect escape route for
Sera! If she could defeat the angry guard, outside, of course.
She ran out without thinking for her safety, with only one thought
in her mind- she had to get back to Jack and Kendo. "Jack...!
Kendo...! I'm coming..!"

And Sera ran right into Andrea, just as she was turning the corner.
“What the hell are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to-
never mind I’ll kill him later.” Andrea whips out a spear made of
ice, pointing it directly at Sera. “Get back to your room. Or I
won’t hesitate to kill you. Jack made have made me a deal, but I’m
not going to deal with so much trouble.”
"I want to go back to Jack and Kendo..." She whimpered upon seeing
the spear, but didn't comply, standing her ground with her usual
frown. "Let me go."

Andrea rolled her eyes so far back into her head, she could
probably see her brain. She clenches her fist, swinging it towards
Sera as if going to hit her, but never making contact. Instead, the
spear disappears from her hands an ice shards poise themselves,
ready to attack Sera if she tried to escape. “Not yet. You’ll seek
Jack later, not now. Now go back to your room, before I change my
mind and kill you.”
She shook her head. "I don't want to go back there..." She stood
still where she was, glancing at the ice shards. They seemed
dangerous- she would have to use her clouds to absorb them.

A swish of its hand, and the spears vanished from the shadowy
bubble.
"You either talk, or I knock you unconscious. Last chance."
It was a very impatient creature, fickle and pissy in its attitude.
It also hated Kendo, had it mentioned that yet? It slid its hand
into Jack's hair, tying it back into a single ponytail. The
movement was just completely wrong, Not-Jack's possession
extremely unnerving.
Not-Jack followed through on its threats. It reached out a tendrils
of darkness that snakes through Kendo's heart. A single twist of
the shadow, and he slumped to the ground, unconscious. Not-Jack
turned him over with its toe, checking to see if he was awake.
Determining his unconsciousness, it slung him over its shoulder,
and dissapated the shadowy sphere. It looked around trying to find
Arthur, but he had likely already fled.
“Fine, then so be it.” Andrea turned away, skirt swishing as she
did so, leaving the little cloud girl standing all alone in the
corridor. As she walked, she pressed a small button on her remote,
and crushed it under the sole of her foot. A ice cage fell from the
ceiling, trapping Sera, and the facility rumbled violently, as
creatures of ice and huge time-related sentient beings came
charging around the corner. However, this large-scale display of
magic definitely had its flaws.
It was then Sera would probably realise that this was no facility,
rather one of Andrea’s little time fracture dimensions. If Sera
tried attacking the monsters, she would realize that they were
little more than illusions. A hundred set of identical gleaming
doors. “If you want to escape, Sera, then get back to reality first
and fight me like a real warrior. Since Jack is busy, we have some
time to kill.”
