Shieta turned her gaze to Jack. She could tell the other was wary
of her, but for what? The prefect spot? But why? It wasn't like she
was any competition for the other, as what skill did she have
except for her mediocre knowledge of poison and healing?
But just because she was curious, it's not like she could just ask
Jack straight up as that would be rude. Thus Shieta decided to put
the matter in the back of her mind for a while and instead focus on
the current subjects. Perhaps if there was a chance when she and
Jack can talk alone, she'll be able to bring up the guts to
confront the other.
"Aww Kendo, you know I love you!" Jack grinned, the degree of
sarcasm in that statement up to interpretation. "But Sera's awesome
clouds - that I have never seen before - are way cooler than your
silly, usual self. It makes sense, if ya know what I mean. Lydia,
back me up."
Jack raised an eyebrow coolly. "You're my best friend, idiot. I may
not say it much, but you're a loveable goofball. Not to mention,
you're intelligent enough to rival me and the other prefects." She
was being serious, her expression intense.
Not to mention all the times you've been there for me when no
one else was, she thought to herself.
Marina, after watching the girl with the clouds for a while,
decided to pop in. These students seemed like fun! With a hop and a
small spin she popped out of her seat and skipped her way to the
group. However, when she was a few feet away, she suddenly fell
with a yelp and a slight crunch. Looking down her back, she found
her left leg had twisted a full 180° at the knee, which meant the
knee brace had loosened a bit. Distracted by her predicament,
Marina rolled over, grabbed her leg, and twisted it back into the
correct position with a sharp crack sound, unaware of any attention
she drew from the happenings.
She held her cheeks. They were... Interesting. No, that wasn't the
word. They were cute. Nice to her. That was good. Very good. But...
She felt tired. Too tired. The second she closed her eyes, she fell
asleep and was two seconds away from hitting the floor. What a
great first impression.

With her leg back in position and her knee brace tightened
properly, Marina got back up and hopped over to the group she had
locked onto. She seemed to have experienced no pain when she fell
or twisted her leg, why was this?
Eris focused on her food. So far, little was happening...
