Mercader owed her so much for this, and he didn't even know it. It would be so easy to throw him under the bus, to reveal that he was subverting Bliss to save her own skin...

I promised that I would serve you, and I was lucid enough for thirty seconds to take an initiative. Azazel was somewhere in the big building. He decided that, since he had free time, he should train a bit. He got his swords out and started battling some training dummies. It wasn’t a whole lot, but it would help him to concentrate on getting attacked at multiple angles.

Caspian looked at the drawing. “Oooh. It lookssssssss good.” he said to Iteral. He started working on his own drawing, which just happened to be one of Iteral drawing as well. It was possible to happen because Iteral was also busy on drawing.

Caleb had moved into the corner of the kitchen to mope and say not bad words in place if what he wanted to say.

Iteral kept drawing and occasionally looked back at Caspian, then on her own drawing. "I hope you don't mind us drawing like this during the storm. I felt like you could use some company and fun." The witch looks at the pencil set. "And I hope you like the gift, even if it is a little... large."

Not "Mercy levels" of motherly warmth but surprisingly close. "Well, I thought you might like more arts... see? There are pens for coal, pens for water colors... even oil."

Caspian’s eyes sparkled as he was told everything that was in the big pack of pens and colored pencils. “Wowwwwww.” he said. He was really excited. Child Caspian is very happy.

Iteral smiles and draws along, before showing him her sketch. A small and crude, yet recognizable drawing of a chibi Caspian holding a pencil the size of him. "I'm not an artist.. but I hope you like it!" She smiles, tearing the piece off that had the drawing and sliding it over to her serpentine friend before drawing again.

Moon smiled up at Bliss. The drugged persona was back.

What had she been worrying about before? Hmm, Moon couldn't remember. Something to do with a plan. Bliss's plan? Bliss's plan was the best. But why would she have been worrying over it? It was flawless.

Moon was happy and safe. No one was going to hurt her, not when Bliss was here. Not that stupid goddess, not the time witch, not that pesky raven...

Lydia was speeding through the halls.

"Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t..."

her combat boots clicked against the ground, as she glanced back. She yelped, narrowly dodging the tip of the scythe.

"Lydia Satou, age 15... Supposed to be dead. How very interesting."

The scythe swept passed her legs, which she dodged by jumping. She continued running.

"Currently running away from me, to find an exit."

Lydia dashed forward, veering to the right as the scythe came crashing down to her left, cutting off a lock of her hair.

"Unfortunately, that's not the exit."

What?

Lydia crashed into the conference room, right in front of Bliss and Moon.

She glanced back.

Mercader was gone.

Lydia gulped, laughing nervously, trying to stop the bleeding from the gaping hole in her right arm.

"Uhh...I'm the... VCR Repair man...?"
