She wanted to run after Lydia. ~~She wanted to run back to Bliss.~~

Instead, she took a deliberate step towards the girl, reaching out with her wind. "And you think I'm the stupid one..." The exertion was likely going to kill her, or at least make her brain think that she was dead. She threw caution to the wind, her desperate loneliness trumping everything.

"Here's the facts, princess. I can't leave. I have demon blood in my veins, or some other weird sh!t. It's forcing me to be... ugh. No bueno. Then some crazy man, Mercader, tells me you're coming to kill me. I would much rather be friends, and make something work in our limited capacity."

She was terrified Lydia would still walk away. It would likely break her if she did.

"He's your dad?" Oh crap, did she say something wrong? "I don't know. He just... actually, I don't think the conversation made much sense. Lydia, I don't have much time. Withdrawal is killing me." And sure enough, her face was pale. The world was spinning.

"So what does that mean?" Honestly, getting this girl to open up was a difficult process. "Do you want to be... friends?" Her voice was hopeful, if not strained. Moon attempted a smile, but it more of a grimace.

Unwittingly, she started to inch back towards the office. A look of panic crossed her face, and she grabbed the wall. NOT NOW!

"Well. Um, I guess this is goodbye then." Moon felt a strange pang of loss. Get it together, not everyone wants to be your friend. And it was probably for the best anyway. Bliss would kill Lydia. Moon had been selfish to even suggest the possibility.

"You're probably making a good decision. I'd probably have gotten you killed!" She was trying to make a final joke, but her heart wasn't it.
