"Thank you." With a final smile, she re-entered the office. Moon was immediately assaulted by Bliss's pheromones. The dreamy smile that her lucid form hated so much returned to her face. She sat down in the demon's lap, leaning into her to cool herself down.

Lydia watched Moon leave. She stayed in place, rooted to the ground for a moment. The sound of dress shoes clicking against the floor stopped, as Mercader paused behind Lydia.

“I see you stole my look, Lydia.”

“What c’n I say, old man? I like cloaks.”

“That girl nearly lost her chance.”

“She nearly messed up, yeah.”

Mercader pushed past her.

“We’ll have a long talk, after all of this.”

She closed her eyes, enjoying the brief contact. She returned to playing the role of Bliss's good little pet, a smile on her face for more than one reason. Moon decided to go back to sleep. Bliss would wake her when it was all over. Bliss and her glorious plans~ it was all so wonderful again.

Azazel didn’t really acknowledge Mercader walking in the meeting room. Heck, he hadn’t been acknowledging what the group of people was planning on doing. He was basically just twiddling with some magic to get used to it again.

Caspian nodded his head. “I can try. Although it’ssssssss not easssssssssy to masssssster.” he said to itty, taking her hand and leading her to the art room without finishing his biscuits. He got distracted easily.

Moon opened one eye from her perch. It was Mercader. The single brain cell nodded imperceptibly at the distortionist. Lydia's father. The giver of macarons. She liked macarons. They were sweet. Like Bliss. She was surrounded by sweet things.

Her mind was back into ridiculous chaos.

Azazel, who was somewhat near Bliss, noticed her and Moon and scooted a bit further down the table away from them. So that was the weird feeling he had gotten earlier.
