“Okay Itty…” Caspian said. “Thank you for the penccccccilsssssss though.” he said, slithering to the art room passing everyone through the living room. He went to the art room and closed the door, starting to draw stuff.

Caleb was moping in misery because he couldn’t curse anymore. He just wants to be able to say heck now which he can’t even do. This is probably for the best but he was very mopey. Sitting in the corner with negative vibes.

She came down faster and wanted to lift her first, then stopped because she still did not know what exactly she was. "... can I pick her up or anything?"

In any case, it's time to work. I'll call you when you're needed." She waved and turned around, motioning for Moon to follow.

Moon fell into step behind Bliss, shooting one last look over her shoulder at Mercader. He was a mystery. What was someone like him doing with the distortionists? And seriously, how did her know Lydia Satou?

Right, she needed to keep playing along with Bliss's schemes. For some reason, the demon had said 'work' rather ominously. It had taken her entire willpower not to flinch away from Bliss's touch. A thousand memories of a hand coming at high velocity towards her head played through her mind in an instant.

Bliss glanced at him before the door behind her closed. Two were at their seats. "Where's Melantha?"

"Still in the hall." Shiori looked at Moon and scowled. "You haven't eaten that thing yet?"

"No, I rather enjoy her, she's very amusing. Besides, if you don't like her that much, than between the two, I'd get rid of you first. So I suggest you watch your mouth." She scoffed and turned to the near completed map. "Elodie, inject more serum into her. I have a feeling that Mercader man did something to her, and I'm not too keen on finding out what."

Melantha bumped into Scaramouche as she walked to the office. She growled. "Watch where you're going, puppet."

Elodie walked closer and took the needle from Bliss, injecting it into her neck so it was ten times stronger and longer lasting. "Quick and easy, just like that."

"Good. I don't need the headache of worrying." She sighed and sat down. She should be fine for that enext few hours. Moon, be a doll and get me a drink, would you? The kitchen is just downstairs and to the right."

"If you weren't taking up over half of the hallway, I wouldn't have bumped into you. It's not my fault you're so chubby." Wow. Rude, Melantha.

Lydia jolted awake, leaping out of Iteral's arms. She blinked out of existence, before briefly reappearing downstairs, grabbing her discarded hoodie. kendo paused in his work.

She burst out the door, pulling the hoodie on.

The needle pricked her neck, and her mind panicked. Nononononononononononono! Not again! She had just recovered from the last injection.

BLISS.

PERFECT.

The slow smile returned to her face. Everything was fine. Bliss was here. She needed to do something... what was it? Yes, get the drink. She slowly began to move, walking down to the kitchen. What did Bliss want? Water, lemonade, seltzer? She selected a tumbler and poured a glass of blood-red wine. She carried it back into the office. She aimed to please. Bliss's happiness was the most important thing in the world.

Bliss smiled and took the wine. "Perfect. Thank you my dear." She pushed the seat next to her, motioning for Moon to sit. "Just be quiet while I work, okay? I'll have the maids prepare you something to eat afterwards." She slightly ruffled Moon's hair and looked at the map, crossing her legs. "She isn't here, but let's discuss it now. Melantha proposed a fairly good idea. She said we should round the humans up like cattle and treat them as such. I'll let her describe it more when she gets here."

Melantha was seething, but she brushed it off. "Whatever. You're one of us, so I do hope you're coming to the meeting. Bliss will kill you if you don't, maybe literally."
