The cube was starting to flicker. He go up from the chair, stretching.

"It's my turn to leave."

He smiled.

"Take care of that girl for me, yeah? i swear to god, Lydia's always like this..."

His voice trailed off, as he walked further into the darkness.

And just like that, The Cube spit Moon out as quick as she had come in.

Iteral nods a little. "Mona, time doesn't care where you are. It always catches up, no matter what you do." She... kind of considered herself lucky. Considering what the lightning would do with her. "... It goes against my promise I made myself 12 years ago but... if you like, show me where my old room is. I can try using the old clocks to maybe slow down or rewind you. I can't stop the decay... but I might alter it."

Caspian popped how head out from behind Mercy. He waved to Kendo and Iteral. “Hiiiiii.” he said to them smiling without a hint of seriousness. He seemed very cheerful, probably because he was a kid and has no idea what was going on.

“Ummm… Could I draw something? Please?” he asked her nicely. He felt like drawing something. It would make everybody feel better maybe. And it would probably keep him busy to where he wouldn’t think about going outside.

Caleb simply said, “Fudge.” Then he looked surprised. “Fudge.” He kept repeating the word, then said, “Poop.” he went into his internal settings. “That dog…” he said. He started silently ranting and muttering those words under his breath.

Sevens looks up from where she is hiding out, noticing the red sky.
“That’s probably… not good…” she mutters before getting up. It was time for her to observe her new favorite humans again. She knows she should have moved on, but she feels like there is something there that she needs to stay for. So she makes her way to the cottage, peaking through the window to see if there is anything new she should observe

Mercy tilted her head. How had she not felt a watching presence before? It didn't seem too hostile. She looked around, trying to find the source.

“I like the, uh, the colored pencils.” Caspian said to her. The colored pencils were, sure, the basic choice, but they looked so good whenever he finished a drawing with them. They were his favorite art supplies to use.

“Why would Mommy be mad at you?” he asks curiously. He only had memories up to when he was 8, so he had no reason to see why Mercy would be mad at Iteral for being there.

Iteral hesitates. It would not be a good idea to spout Mercy's flaws against Caspian, he needs a mother figure after all and Mercy knows Caspian far better. On the other hand... with her regressing age... ugh, such a moral dilemma. So, she makes it short and sweet:

"Mom and I... don't get along. At all. But you can trust either of us."

Moon reappeared next to Bliss, stumbling slightly. She held the box of macarons in her hands, hoping Bliss wouldn't confiscate them. The coin from Mercader was tucked deep in her pocket. She smiled reassuringly at her captor. She only hoped that the other distortionist had been correct about the conversation being confidential. Did Bliss know about the confidentiality clause? Would she try to torture/seduce the information out of Moon anyway?

Her mind caught on Mercader's final words: "Take care of that girl for me, yeah? i swear to god, Lydia's always like this..."

How did he know Lydia? And how could she take care of the rebellious, pseudo-omnipotent ghost that may be coming to try to kill her?

kendo was not sure how to react here. Lydia was just kind of... passed out on the floor. Kendo didn't bother to move her.
