Pulmonary Fibrosis? That word was unfamiliar. Paiyoon was pretty sure that didn't exist in her original world. It must be some condition that made Suko susceptible to illness. Now Paiyoon felt... even worse.
She drifted back over to Suko, watching their spectral bullets fall. "Don't apologize to me... you don't owe me anything. Even if you have regrets, I must take some of the blame. I didn't understand what I was dealing with, I didn't realize I was spreading the curse. I call myself a veteran of the compound, but I missed key instructions. Stupid disembodied voice."
Paiyoon stared at the remaining few below. She had orchestrated the next two rounds as best she could. She only hoped Artemis would be intelligent enough to tie the vote. She had told him enough already, a hidden meaning to needing his big brain for one more round. Perhaps they would all die anyway. But enough musings.
"We all die eventually, my friend. And some deaths are less permanent than others. If you're here, then you already know this. I've died twice... this is my third time. I keep coming back to the compound, each time with a new game to play, a new mystery to solve.
"If you believe hard enough, you may come back to life. Or, you can move on, and make your reparations in the next life. There are very few vengeful ghosts in the afterworld, despite the abundance of earthly rumours. The choice is yours.
"But no matter your choice, your gun can't protect you anymore. Suko, you are strong enough without it anyway. You have one final tool at your disposal, one final coat of armor: your mind."
She paused, locking eyes with them.
"And sometimes, there's nothing you can do. Your death is outside your control. Like here and now. No amount of bullets could have stopped the curse."
Paiyoon fell silent. She had been rambling again, hadn't she? Oh well. Metaphysics and the roleplayer theory were hard to explain.

And then she he spoke, as if she were back on the floor. Alive. "Paiyoon, can you hear me?"
"Yes, Artemis. Although you can't hear me."

My current RP work:
Idris Kallikrates - Miko Results
Day 1: Yongjin Choi is revealed by the gods to be aligned with the Yōkai.
Day 2: Suko Nobu is revealed to be aligned with the Humans.
Day 3: Felicity is revealed to be aligned with the Humans.
I will neither confirm nor deny Idris' claim as Miko. Quoting yesterday, however:
"Additionally, due to inactivity, Athena, the Miko, has been "ejected", heheh. A Civilian has converted to Athena's role, and will now count twice towards Human-aligned majority."
Kathryn Arbred's POV
...
All those people... Dead.
She cried for a really long time, before attempting to contain herself.
"Well, I-- Artemis. I think... We should try to find out who could have done this. It's all we can do."
She frowned. So Choi Yongjin was really...?
She'd seemed... So innocent. A queasiness settled into her chest.
"...and I guess we know one of the people behind this now." She shivered.
Sorry, Choi.
She wrote down Choi Yongjin's name.
"I'm assuming you can hear me, Paiyoon. The others probably think I've gone mad. And I have, it's true. I've gone quite insane. But there's one thing keeping me as composed as I am."
He sat down on the ground, with a heavy sigh.
"It's her. For some odd reason, I get the feeling that, even if I break out of this karmic cycle, nothing's gonna change."
His laughter was broken.
"If you ever see her, in this cycle of death, take care of her, okay? Shouldn't be too hard to figure out who she is. Yay high, rose-pink hair, a bloodstained white scarf, etc."
he looked over at the others.
"So they died. Whatever. They'll just come back next round, you know?"
wickedness?
Or is it
weakness?
You decide.
There were already two votes for her
She wasn't sure exactly what to do
She couldn't exactly deny the fact
She was aligned with a Yokai- If the Shikigami counted as one
Oh welp- she was going to die, and now she wouldn't be able to eat Tteok-bokki with Go-Reon
but she had to make a vote, so she counted the people in her head and wrote down
Artemis Wright

She watched over Artemis, daring the suspicious to even come near. What was he saying? Had he found a way to escape the loop?
But if he had, that meant that he would be united with his Emma. Unless another cosmic force was conspiring to keep them apart.
"I'll watch over Emma if she comes. Don't worry. What are friends for?" He couldn't hear her. But it was all Paiyoon had left.
Waiting for round three was starting to become... boring. Welp, more incentive not to die stupidly.

He closed his eyes.
"I have this odd feeling. That when I die, someone from my past will take my place."
he shrugged.
"that's why i'm asking you to take care of them, Paiyoon. because I'm dying, at the moment. Like, really dying."
wickedness?
Or is it
weakness?

"Wowww, this game is longer than expected....anyways, Artemis Wright, the Author (finally) died of an infection last night. The contents of their will are below."
Kathryn Arbred's POV
An expression of shame and regret came upon Kathryn's face, tears welling in her eyes. A sad smile formed upon her face.
...
What the hell could she even say?
She'd been so desperate to see her brother again, that she had resorted to... This.
To hurting, no... Killing strangers that she had grown to care about.
A hiccuping sob rose from the girl's throat, and then, another.
She pulled her scarf down. She was shaking, shaking so hard, her fingers clenched into fists.
"I'm sorry..." she choked out. "...Paiyoon. Suko. Artemis. I am so, so... Sorry..."
What else could she even say?...
She almost see the gun. She could almost hear the click as it was pulled back.
The gun she had never seen coming.
"...I just... I just wanted to see my brother again. And if innocent people had to die for it, was it really worth it?"
...
"...I wanted to be a doctor."
...
"...help people, not hurt them."
...
"...but I guess, here I am..."
...
"...Lucian, I'm sorry."
She knew he would have forgiven her. She didn't deserve it, but he would have forgiven her. Lucian was like that...
"...I guess... Th-there's... Only one thing left to do now. I should have been honest from the start."
...
She clenched her fists tighter, breathing heavily.
"...I guess... I was just scared."
...
"...scared of existence, just coming to an end. I- I..."
...
Lucian... I'm sorry.
Everyone... I'm so sorry.
She deserved to die, and she knew it.
Youngjin floated above the remaining people her ghost tail bobbing
She wanted to cry but how does a ghost cry?
She wouldn't ever see her family again,
She couldn't even blame anyone in here
Nobody had chosen to come here
All she could do for now was watch
Drax had run away from the camp, and Felicity was all alone
Youngjin floated over to Felicity, from far off she also sees Paiyoon as a ghost
"Oh, Felicity," Youngin said
She sat next to Felicity on the floor
Even if Felicity couldn't see her, she hoped she could feel her presence
