"Dear humans, as you may or may not be aware, you've just signed yourself up to enter the Otherworld, where we Kami, Yōkai, and other mythical animals live! It appears like some very vicious yōkai had a bone to pick with you, or rather, I was a bit bored. I dunno, this script wasn't written for me to read. Well, I'm sure you're all in a lot of pain right now, so please stay in the allocated housing."
"So I'll go over everyone's responsibilities. Or occupation. Perhaps even species. Here we refer to them as roles. Unfortunately I don't feel like talking more so take this leaflet and leave me alone. Good night~"

So... No one had died last night.
They had all been forced to come here, and she wasn't sure how to deal with it...
The whole thing... It was honestly so nerve-wracking.
She supposed she might as well get to know everyone here and figure out who was who.
Things would be alright... Right?
There's no way anyone here could actually be dangerous...

Paiyoon rose. Her head hurt. She felt an odd sense of deja vu. Looking around the room, some of the faces seemed... familiar.
The disembodied voice was currently the most suspicious thing in the room. She eyed her companions nervously.
"Hello..." She said quietly. Her eyes scanned the room, looking for any weaknesses.
She didn't like this.
Not one bit.
It was never meant to be.

Choi Youngjin ran in the hallway of her school
"Shoot- i'm late," she said through her teeth.
She stepped on the fourth stair when she sunk through the floor
"Wha- What the heck is this?" She thought
Choi Youngjin lands on the ground next to many other people
Then she remembers Go-Reon telling her about the legend of every year that 1 person from the school gets taken by the Kishin if you step on the fourth step
"Of course it had to be me" Youngjin smiled

She had not expected anyone to approach her. Time to test the girl's resolve. "Be honest. If you could kill anyone in this room, who would it be?"

Her eyes widened.
"K-Kill someone in this room?" She glanced around, a horrified look in her eyes. She looked on the verge of vomiting.
"...I-- honestly don't think I'd ever even think of killing someone. Would- would you?..."
She shook her head. "Oh my goodness, I-- I'm sorry, that was out of line, I shouldn't have asked that, you don't have to answer!"
Talking to people was nerve-wracking. And...
Paiyoon's question hadn't helped her any either.

"I'd kill... Well, you see that guy over there, banging his fist against the wall? That's Artemis. Like me, he's trapped in this hellhole of a loop. I'd kill him. Only in death is he reunited with the love of his life."
Paiyoon nodded in his direction. But she wasn't Yōkai. She could only cast a single vote each day.

...Where was she?
Looking around at her surroundings, this place didn't look all too... friendly, to say the least. The voice that introduced this odd group didn't exactly make things better.
Anyways, Suki only decided to open her eyes and not even pick herself off the ground, the ground was comfy anyways and she didn't want to draw any attention to herself. Besides, there was people, and people were never a good thing. Also... wasn't this some weird killing game? That didn't seem fun.
Oh well, she could probably go back to sleep.
...If it wasn't for the madman banging on a wall, begging for death. She turned her head slightly and lifted it off the ground to look at him, a sadness and concern in her eyes. She said nothing, but instead slowly lowered her head and closed her eyes.
Begging for death already, huh? And by the looks of it... Some people had already been here, done that. They were already talking about murder. It made her shiver.
...Oh.
Well this was gonna suck.

Artemis did not seem to notice the fact that his knuckles were bleeding. He continued driving his fist into the wall. He looked very different from his normal, stiff self, his perfectly-ironed suit wrinkled and unbottuned, the white-collared shirt underneath crumpled, like he had slept in it. His cyan-colored hair was wild, his mouth twisted into a scowl.
"I killed. I died. That was all there was to it! So why am I back?"

Youngjin noticed that there were actually a lot of different people, and that they were humans.
Youngjin, as michevious as she usually was, was now serious.
Her plan was to ask every one if they knew what was going on- and introduce herself
She headed over to two girls, one with a hood on and one brunette(Paijoon Ji and Kathyrn Abred) . They seemed to be talking about something
"Hi i'm Choi Youngjin," She said.
She noticed that she wasn't speaking Korean. She tried to speak again but it came out english.
"Oh my goodness- what is happening?" she thought

Paiyion stared blankly at the disembodied voice. "Thank you. After last time, I'm embracing that role... Let's see if I screw it up for my fellow villagers a second time. You think I'd have learned by now. Anyways, thanks disembodied voice."
She turned, walking towards Artemis at a brisk pace. Someone new had walked up, but they weren't as important as helping him. Grabbing his fists, she tried to stop him from pummelling the wall.
"Artemis. I know. I'd rather be dead too, but we're back again. I can only imagine it's to try to do better. All we need to do is vote the f*cking Yōkai. The faster we do it, the faster it's done. And then they'll either kill you, or you die, and you can see her again."
She closed her eyes. Seriously, why? They didn't need to be here again. How many iterations would they go through?

"Was I too confident?" she thought. "Maybe I should just go back-"
She shook her head.

The anger dissipated in an instant, as Artemis turned. The scowl didn't disappear, though.
"I just... I'm so sick of this."
He checked the condition of his hands. Not very good. His knuckles were bleeding profusely.
"Just... I just want it to end."

Kathryn sighed. "I-- I guess at least it's for a good reason. Poor guy. Seems like he's going through a hard time..."
Kathryn turned and looked at who had spoken. "Oh, um, it's nice to meet you too! I don't believe we've met. My name is Kathryn Arbred. And you are...?"
She tugged her scarf up over her mouth. Great... More social interaction.
But... Paiyoon hadn't seemed all that hostile.

She bit her lips. "Is there any way you think we can determine who the Yōkai are? I don't want anyone to die, that would be awful..."
